About this listen

I thank God Almighty, the creator of heaven and Earth that I am not alone. I always looked up and said "Father forgive me, I am holding on to you".

This book is written in English, my second language. I am not afraid of how bad my English may be. It's time for me to move on and accomplish what I started. I want to let you, the listener, know that you are important to me. That is why I want to introduce you to my book and to let you know how God provided me with all I needed, and that was help and one more chance. Every good thing that's happening to me now is not by my own power, but by God's. The only person I am very close to now is Jesus because he makes my dreams come true. He never lets me fail, he is always by my side, not because I am a widow or afraid, but because he is my Savior, he loves me, and I am his child. I hope you all enjoy listening to my book as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Tears Of A Mother

The author describes, personally, the extreme conditions of the southern Sudanese people during the civil war of Sudan. The stories tell what it was like for women who became widows and children who became orphans. The roads to overcome starvation, disease, and danger were met with minimal assistance. Clearly the author’s love of her family, faith and the decision to “ not look down” were what kept her going.
The author’s hard and conscientious work rewarded her and her children with a new and good life in the USA. But it was a life away from all she understood in Sudan… a life that could never return her loved ones who died because of a religion-war.
Though some may not connect the significance of a country’s religious influences, clearly values like integrity and equity affect how well freedom and peace can thrive in a nation. As I long to better understand the refugee situation in my country, this book has touched my heart and called me to CARE!
