About this listen

From the author of The Medicare Survival Guide, this book is a step-by-step guide on how to successfully transition from group health insurance coverage to Medicare.

The new Ten Mistakes You Can't Afford to Make With Medicare book is perfect for anyone who has questions about Medicare, Medicare elections, and the insurance options within Medicare.

A comprehensive guide to help listeners put together all the pieces of Medicare, Social Security, and retirement planning.

Throughout the year, there are a number of periods in which you can add various coverage to your existing Medicare State, including Supplements and Part D Prescription plans. This book shows you how to navigate these choices, when to make them, and how to avoid the most common selection mistakes. Each section carefully explains what changes and plan selections you can make during the various election periods, and helps you sidestep unexpected (and often undeserved) late enrollment penalties.

This book gives you all of the information you need to successfully navigate Medicare's complex annual Enrollment Period (AEP) and Special Enrollment Periods (SEPs). If you are approaching Medicare eligibility, retiring, and want to switch from group health insurance coverage to Medicare or want to better understand the available enrollment periods for making plan changes, then this is a must-read book.

If you are approaching age 65 or are already past that age and need or want to understand how Medicare works, this is definitely the book for you. It will help you determine which plan(s) may be right for your needs, when to enroll and what to do if you miss your enrollment deadlines. This book explains in plain English the basics of Medicare and helps demystify many of the common (and sometimes not so common) questions asked by those new to Medicare.

You can't get the best value from your Medicare benefits unless you understand the ground rules.

Poorly written.

Did not meet my expectations of providing an easy to understand guide in Medicare enrollment. Look elsewhere!

“Oops: Perfect Subtitle

Are we being punked? This publications reads like it’s been researched and narrated by CHAT GPT. The language is stunted and repetitive. The syntax is laughably poor.
Further, there are ZERO usable insights into the opaque and Byzantine bureaucracy a.k.a the Social Security Administration.
Finally, I want to apologize to CHAT GTP. I, in no way meant to imply that you are a bad writer. Please don’t suspend my Skynet account. IG me. I know where Sarah Conners lives
