About this listen

Sage Tyler knows exactly the kind of man she wants—sophisticated, quiet, and, above all, controllable. Harlan Boyd, the egotistical drifter who works for her brothers, is none of these things. But Boyd is the first man Sage hasn't been able to wrap around her little finger. Then Sage's family business—the Tyler Drilling Company—is threatened, and Sage and Harlan find themselves fighting side by side to save it—in quarters too close to keep passion at bay. Can spoiled, headstrong Sage find love with a man who seems so easy to get and so hard to keep?

Sound quality issues

I've read this book in the past and wanted to listen to it for the heck of it. The sound quality is horrible. It goes from almost whispering level to I've got a secret level. At highest volume it can still barely be heard.
