For many of us, we have a glimpses or a sense there is a stable core inside of us, but our live’s resemble scattered fragments of our being splattered across our world. It is hard to not get caught up in clichés like, "no pain; no gain." Achieve! Accomplish! Attain! Please! Serve!
And when you achieve the goal, there is a momentary sense of accomplishment that is quickly brushed away. Then on to the next pursuit. Something is missing.

Perhaps there is some truth in this cliché, “no pain; no gain.” Pain motivated me to try this practice. This unease about how I am living doesn't have anything to do with what I am doing, it has to do with… who is the doer, and why the doing.

After this practice, I feel like I have gathered up these scattered fragments of myself and placed them in my heart.

The experiential practices provided by Adyashanti are simple, short and subtle. When I started this program, I thought I was looking for something different. Now, I am clear I wanted to “be” different in my life. This is obtainable. I am changing, and in a kind way versus a painful demanding way. Thank you.
