This is a very heavy book. I found I almost needed to pause it just to digest the info. Overall, I would say if you watch the TV show, maybe skip it. If you are new to these ideas, get this book for sure!
great book

My main problem with this book was that it tried to cover as many theories, examples of evidence, and ideas as possible but did not give enough information or really go as in depth on each of the topics as I would have preferred. I would have rather the author pick just a few examples and covered those a lot more thoroughly than what he did.
Overall, it was a good book but it just wasn't as helpful as I had hoped it would be. I had no problem with Kevin Foley and his reading though.
Too much Quantity, Not Enough Quality

There were many ancient things mentioned which I was unaware existed. What did you like best about this story?
I liked how well the interesting history of ideas over the last 200 years is lain out in the book. It's a great history lesson of people's ideas on ancient things and the evolution of those ideas over time. What about Kevin Foley’s performance did you like?
Very good narration. Could listen to him all day.Any additional comments?
I also like how the author doesn't make any outlandish statements however explains the many possibilities of why and how and let's the reader make up there own mind. All round an excellent book and narration. Highly recommend to anyone interested in ancient history.Thoroughlly Enjoyable

What did you love best about The Ancient Alien Question?
Its a little frightening if this its true and it does all add up and make sense , its frightening cause it makes you have to rethink what you have always been told ( church, religion ) ect. but it doesn't mean of course that there isn't a loving god , which is good.Have you listened to any of Kevin Foley’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
First book by him that I have listened too. What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?
The possible truth about aliens , ufo`s and us.Thought provoking

However, if you've spent much time watching the show Ancient Aliens you are probably familiar with much of what is discussed. Coppens does a good job of keeping it fresh presenting different views on familiar subjects and doesn't shove "it was aliens" down your throat like the show does.
Not just another UFO book

Any additional comments?
While this book did not, at any time, convince me that anything the author talked about had the slightest thing to do with aliens, I still found it to be a very enjoyable read. Lots is interesting, sometimes weird history. Great commentary on ancient religions and cultures. Really gave me a lot to think about. No aliens though. So, I would definitely recommend it.Lots fun history mysteries.
