Great presentation on theories of origins of various prehistoric structures. The pyramids of Egypt, Cities of South and Central America and other sites are discussed and similarities in legends from geographically diverse populations are presented.

Excellent information well delivered.

The narrator presents all the values and questionable architecture but i think somewhere and somewhat fails to connect the the dots to complete the picture or might he possibly be coming close to it ...and i can feel the effort he made to compile the knowledge he painfully gathered ... really would like to hear more...

Overall i enjoyed it ... there is always buts and ifs...

Really great book getting deep into the origins and the true known history of our world and man kind. Always referring and documenting everything. So interesting and well explained.

I only write this in hopes that Mr. Hancock might see it. I want to thank you for sparking a passion within me I didn’t know I had. I’m a 41 yr old man who just learned of your work from your time spent with Joe Rogan. I’m fascinated with your mind and your world views. I can’t wait to listen to the rest of your publications and have already started making plans to see some of places you’ve been for myself. I want to travel for the purpose of broadening my horizons and hopefully my understanding of this world. Again. Thank you!

Any truth, discovered in logic, can be disproven with an emotional nostalgia, to a previously closed book. When we fully understand something, we fail to continue learning from it.

Truthnis now fluid.

I read this book in the 90s and Graham's ideas fascinated me then and continue to do so today. Much of this book has been proven since it was written, and much debunked. But at the core Hancock's belief that history didn't start with the Egyptians is getting harder to deny every year. Hancock is an excellent narrator and vividly brings to life his ideas and theories. I was gripped from the beginning to the end. Better than anything on Netflix!

A must listen

Director of 2012 movie and 10,000 BC movie admits this book is the inspiration for those movies. Great mix of mystery, history and Sci-Fi.

I would call "Great Mystery, History & Sci-Fi."

Like most people today, most books of this type are out to prove vague points, push rediculous agendas, or preach rediculous spiritual notions. Not so with this one. It's truly a book of down-to-earth alternative ideas. A mixture of basic scientific facts and theoretical notions. Thoughts on past historical events, as you will.

Besides the section on the Nazca lines, the middle section regarding South American culture gets old, quick. Besides that, it's mostly a good listen.

Also, the narration is excellent. Very rare, as most people annoy me after a few hours of droning on. I do recommend playing at a slightly slower speed of 90% as this narrator is in a hurry, is chewing on coca leaves, or something hitherto unknown.

Surprisingly good, overall
