About this listen

Rated by the OnLine Book Club, five stars out of five. "This book contains a riveting adventure."

In this coming-of-age novel, I discover a life-changing point of view, BAGO. Frustrated by unanswered questions at a religious school in Southwest Philadelphia, that I was punished for asking, I set out to become a famous pirate by making a movie of my Huckleberry Finn river adventure, with extraordinarily surprising results.

A good read from a new author

I found the story to be reminiscent of Mark Twain. The imagination of young kids leading them on wild adventures, and this book did not disappoint. The narrator needs to pause between sentences, he tended to run sentences together. I would recommend a short acknowledgement at the beginning and the more lengthy version at the end of the book. Overall the story was very entertaining and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of reading it.
