Cinderella never had to deal with this crap.
Jane isn't entirely sure that Cinderella got such a raw deal. Sure, she had a rough start, but didn't she eventually land a prince and a happily ever after? Meanwhile Jane is busy waiting on her demanding, entitled sisters, running her cleaning business, and, yep, not a prince in sight. Until a party and a broken shoe incident leave Jane wondering if princes - or at least a certain deliciously hunky billionaire - maybe do exist.
Except Brock Wellington isn't anyone's dream guy. Hell, a prince would never agree to be auctioned off in marriage to the highest bidder. Or act like an arrogant jerk - even if it was just a façade. Now, as Brock is waiting for the auction chopping block, he figures it's karmic retribution that he's tempted by a sexy, sassy woman he can't have. But while they can't have a fairy-tale ending, maybe they can indulge in a little bit of fantasy.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Bachelor Auction to be better than the print version?
I loved the audio more for sure. I read the book when it was out and I liked it, But after listening to the audiobook I'm obsessed with Plane Jane and Boring Brock.Who was your favorite character and why?
This is hard to decide because Jane was a badass and Brock was a sexy bastard and together they were perfect. I love the twins too and the crazy old man and of course the fairy god mother Jane got in the end. Oh. My. God. And the animals from the farm! They all had personalities! Everybody was awesome. Well, except for the ugly sisters of Jane, who were more awful than the step sisters from the original fairy tale.Have you listened to any of Annie Green and Douglas Berger ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
It's my first time with these two narrators and they were awesome. Their performances were flawless. Perfect pronunciation, perfect inflexions and perfect tone of voice that matched with the characters' personalities and situations in the story. I like to listen to new narrators because it always feels fresh to listen to a new voice and if they are talented, just like Annie and Douglas are, I enjoy the book so much.If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Plane and Boring were never sexier together!Any additional comments?
The Bachelor Auction was a sexy funny love story of Jane (Cinderella) and Brock (Prince Charming). They couldn't say no to their families, one felt guilty his father's death and the other one felt the responsability of keeping a promise to mantain the family together. But they were miserable. But a Bachelor Auction was needed for them to meet each other, but don't think of it as "They meet, they fall in love, HEA" kinda story. So much had to happen in order to get their HEA. The auction announcement, the lost of the show (yeah at the beginning), the sent away to spend three weeks hiding before the big night, the hiring Jane to clean the family ranch, the crazy animals, the awesome twin brothers, even the awful sisters. Everything was needed for Jane and Brock to have their HEA and I loved every single word of it.I can't wait for the nexrt book of the series, the audiobook has a little excerpt of The Playboy Bachelor and it was awesome. August isn't close enough.
A sexy Cinderella modern tale

Are you a Rachel Van Dyken Fan? If you answered YES… then READ THIS BOOK…
I loved The Bet so much I have read parts out to my hubby.
This book for me had that kind of feel good, can’t get enough read to it. Even with the audio!!
Brock is the oldest brother who has twin brothers he seems to have to keep in line.. Only that’s a full time job that well doesn’t work frankly. Not only that but his grandfather is just as nutty. Which I LOVED!
Jane, just Jane takes care of her two older sisters because frankly they are useless. What you were thinking it!!
They walk all over her, and Jane feels like she has to keep the family together because that’s what her father would have wanted. Only I don’t think me meant for her to be taken advantage of.
When Brock sees Jane.. well let’s just say his life will never be that same again. And neither will her.
Lordy be this was a funny book. The wit and the sarcasm are awesome. I loved Brock's brothers, they had me laughing or chuckling throughout. .And don’t get me started on the Rooster or the Donkey.. haha
I loved the narrators!! Perfect voices to bring these characters to life in my ears I tell you.
I could be more pleased, an audiobook I will be listening to again let me tell you.
*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

I really enjoy reading Rachel Van Dyken's books. This one is funny and very well written. Jane and Brock have a lot of twists and turns to go through but it was a great ride for me. I love all the characters and can't wait to see what happens next.
