Great Story

The story was different from what I am used to listening to. I enjoyed the book except that a male narrator should have been used narrator. The male narrator sounded geeky.

Olivier and Grace

Loved except I felt that Olivier Grace should have talked more and told each what Lance was up to and what he said to each of them and Henry should have know about them and the truth about Lance

Story weak. Narrative flat.

I thought the story was weak. Very predictable. The narration was flat. This is my opinion. However, someone else might get something from this story that I did not.

wonderful story

Grace was a good person who got caught on night and drunk a little too much, ending up having sex with Lance. She finds out she is pregnant and and goes find him only for him to say that the baby isn't his. But his little brother steps up and help her. Then Lance comes back as stirs things up for the whole family. wonderful ending.

A nice distraction

While fairly predictable (which is what I was looking for), the story hit all the desired emotions, events, and outcomes I like. The story was entertaining and a little unexpected. although it's true the narrator takes some getting use to, but the story distracts you from it. Over all a nice listen when you just need something to lightly occupy your mind.

Hate weak women

This book would’ve been so much better if the FL wasn’t so weak. Although the story ended well, the FL was painted as such a weak character and I just don’t see. She started off so strong and it would’ve been nice to see that carried throughout the book.

well that was a strange experience

I wish I had read the audio reviews first. It felt like my grandma was reading me a book. Not bad, the reading, though odd was even. I also agree with the other reviews that the characters felt flat. A few intro chapters and a new narrator would go far to fix it.

Cardboard Characters, Poor Narration

I have been reading Romance in all forms for more then 40 years, and normally I never write a review but this time I just had to. The characters were not well fleshed out, the "Good" brother who should have had more depth was flat, and the female lead was again just surface with very little about her as a person. I am not looking for Jane Austin here but I think if your going to write a book for others to buy and enjoy at least put some effort into making them at least feel like a person and not a cardboard cut out. The book could not even be redeemed by the narration as the lovely lady who "read" the book spoke in the same voice thought out and it was that of a sweet southern grandmother, I know as I have one, it was a bit odd to hear her read the sex scenes. This is the first book by the author I have read, I am not sure if this is a normal issue with her writing or if her other books are of a better quality, I hope they are.
