Publisher's summary

During the week Simon Seymore is a good little bookmobile librarian. He lives and breathes his job providing library access to the rural towns south of Grayson City. But every weekend he heads to the bar in search of another alpha to go home with. If he preps himself beforehand, they never have to know his secret: Simon can't slick.

Omegas who can't slick can't have children either, and alphas aren't accepting of that. At t27, Simon's learned that relationships simply aren't worth the risk. It's better to focus on his job, and stop dreaming about the mate he's never going to have.

Art Hitchens buried the love of his life five years ago. At 45, he has no intention of chasing after omegas ever again. But when a bookmobile librarian shows up in his hometown and gives him a wild proposition, Art feels alive for the first time in years.

Simon may be too young for Art and slow to trust after being rejected so many times, but Art feels a need to take care of Simon that's impossible to ignore.

The Bookmobile Baby is a May/December romance with knotting, MPreg, BDSM, and a nurturing Dom. It's the second book in the Nerds Who Knot series, but it stands alone.

Love this series!

I read all the available books in this series so I was excited to get this audiobook. Simon and Art are really into each other but are so mixed up with both of their insecurities, it’s really sweet and very, very hot to see them work for their HEA!

Enjoyed the storyline more

The author sure does have a interesting plot line to tell. And I thoroughly enjoy this book, the narrator did a good job at telling the story and Making the characters come to life. Definitely something to check out. Can’t wait to hear the other books in the series.

Sweet story with expressive narration

When I read the book I enjoyed it. The narrator was very expressive. I teared up in a couple of places that I didn’t reading the book. Well done I thought.

Simon is a librarian who drives to small towns bringing books to people who don’t have any other access to books. Books are his life.

He desperately wants a baby but because he isn’t a normal omega it’s not an option for him. He meets Art when he visits the bookmobile. He’s always been attracted to Art but had no idea Art was interested in him too. Unexpectedly they become involved. Simon discovers he likes being Art’s boy, as much as he likes having a daddy.

Art is older and has already met, loved, and lost the man of his dreams. So he’s not looking forever, but Simon makes him think it could be possible again. When a miracle happens both men approach it differently.

Wow, this one was brimming over with angst. Simon and Art were great, and I thought the author did a good job of creating two characters who just didn’t communicate well. I liked the way the writing just kind of flowed comfortably along. This was helped by the narration. Nice book.

Wonderful Story

I love this book. I’ve read it a few times. The narrator bothered me when listening to book one and was even worse with this one. Little voice separation, lack of emotion during sex scenes, and the overall gruffness of narrator’s voice sent bad joo joo all over this story.

Sexy Daddy & his boy

This book was 10+ stars amazing!!! I absolutely love it!! For me personally it was better than the 1st but probably just more my cup of tea. I thoroughly enjoyed the light D/s play and Art (swoon 🥰😍🥰, loved his rugged, tender, sexy, dominant aura) that man (fans self) I need a daddy like him!!! And I want to shout from the roof tops THANK YOU AMY for not treating this like a love at first sight relationship. I know the few weeks they had to figure stuff out was quick, but I really liked the way you emphasized the inner battles between Art & his lost love plus Simon and how he felt about it as well. It wasn't just "oh, I lost the love of my life, neat. I found someone else". Not that I'm trying to put all the attention on Art because Simon was a beautiful character as well, I loved his heart and yearning for a love he thought he would never get. I cried with him at a few points, his story was just so sweet and heartbreaking. Also, I feel like Isaac completely redeemed himself in this book, He now has a special place in my heart. I can't wait until the rest of this series gets uploaded to Audible, but for now, I am more than happy to read it on KU!
Barney, you are an wonderful narrator! You had so much emotion and switched between Arts & Simon's voices like it was second nature. I loved your performance so much and can't wait to listen to more books by you!! Fabulous & fantastic!!💖

Love, love, love...

The Bookmobile Baby by Amy Bellows is the second book in the Nerds Who Knot series and is a non-shifter mpreg story with a sexy taste of daddy kink. We get treated to an age gap story, finding love again after loss, fertility issues and secondary characters dealing with the realities of being trans. Its beautiful story that gives you the feels, delivers a little drama, adds a bit of fun and provides the sweet and the heat. I absolutely loved Simon and Art. The are sweet together but also sexy. Loved their story.

The narrator is Barney Parkwynne. Wonderful job bringing the story to the audio audience and making these characters live. Clear recording and great voicework.
