Publisher's summary

A delicious standalone romantic comedy performed by Andi Arndt and Jason Clarke with special guest stars Zachary Webber and Erin Mallon!

I was only trying to help a friend. I swear. I was legit asking for a friend who was finally ready to date again. I knew what she wanted in a man - smart, funny, ambitious, well-read (no, the sports section doesn't count), and plays a wicked game of badminton. So I did what any good friend would do. Posted it for her. It seemed like a good idea at the time - I’d weed through the candidates, and bring her my top picks. But then he responded. Is it wrong to date the guy I screened for my bestie? Not asking for a friend.

Asking for a Friend is a Boyfriend Material series standalone! Three best friends. Three outrageous proposals. Three chances to fall in love. Three brand new standalones from Lauren Blakely!

Book Nerd Swoon

As a lifelong bookworm I found this one especially endearing. After just listening to the Virgin Gift from Blakely this one is PG-13, funny and sweet, yes somewhat predictable but who cares, as with all her work no action and light drama. People you like and folks you root for their HEA. Narration is perfection.

Lauren has done it again. This book rocks. Book 1 of a new series and I can’t wait to read more of the series. If they’re anything like this book, it will be epic. Loved Amy and Linc so much. Where can I find my own Linc? The chemistry and attraction between them was so good. You can feel it coming off the pages. You will have a smile on your face by the time you are finished. I highly recommend this story. This will be a story that you will reread many times as you do with all her books.

What can i say about the narrators except OUTSTANDING job. These are my go to narrators. I always look for books that they narrate because I know that they will be awesome and this book was no exception.

Not her best but good.

I listened to this book at 1.20x.

This was a very enjoyable book. But it was also very predictable.
Of course all the narrators were great. She only picks the best.

Listen again, it’s so good !

Cute storyline with fabulous narration! Couldn’t stop listening because the narrators had me feeling as though I was there observing the scenarios. Breath of fresh air to have hero, heroine, and supporting characters with outstanding moral character. Story was also funny and entertaining. Will listen again thanks to award winning narration and LB’s gift for writing.

Audible Escape - ROM COM

This is a light and breezy Rom Com that was a super easy listen to on Audible Escape.

I am so hooked on this author's writing. I love a classic romance and this is absolutely one of them.

Dual Narration is wonderful and at times conversations are dual line by line. It is like listening to a play on stage.

Loved it!

I love just about anything Lauren Blakely writes! Another great story with fantastic narration! Andi Arndt has become one of my fav for female lead. And Jason Clarke's voice (sigh)...I could listen to all day.

Another winner!

Loved it. A fun story with believeable characters. Narration was excellent. I like that characters from previous books are involved.

This book nerd fell in love with these book nerds. Asking For a Friend is fun, flirty, and yummy. A must read for all book lovers. Linc and Amy are “better than cake.” A cake you’ll want to not just taste, but devour the entire thing!
The narrators made this book even yummier!
