About this listen

It’s her wedding day, and small-town librarian Bunny Raines is marrying the man of her dreams.

Tall, handsome, tender, and passionate in bed, Rafe Dalvahni is perfection in a tuxedo—more so out of it. He’s everything a girl could wish for, but poor Bunny is in for a rude awakening. Before she can take the first bite of wedding cake, she discovers that Mr. Perfect has a secret, and it’s a doozy. Rafe is not the man she thought he was. In fact, he’s not a man at all. Bunny’s new husband is a demon hunter, an immortal warrior pledged to hunt demons called “djegrali” through space and time.

So much for happily ever after.

Rafe Dalvahni is on a mission to protect Bunny from the demon intent on her destruction, even if he has to marry her to do it. It’s his duty, and a Dalvahni warrior always does his duty.

But love? Love has nothing to do with it.

Bunny disagrees. Bunny loves Rafe, and she knows deep down that Rafe loves her, too. This steel magnolia has special powers of her own, and she’s determined to win her husband’s heart and drop-kick the evil forces threatening them across the state line.

The Bride Wore Demon Dust is a Southern-fried paranormal romance novella, part of Lexi George’s Dalvahni Demon Hunter series. If you like sizzling romance mixed with action, paranormal critters, and lots of humor, then this series is for you.

Fun addition to the Demon Hunting in Dixie series

This is a short, fun novella in Lexi George's Demon Hunting series. The novella begins with the wedding of Bunny and Rafe Dalvahni. Soon after the wedding the couple encounters a demon and Rafe has to confess he is an alien demon hunter. Bunny does not take the news well. The book contains George's trademark humor, much of it having to do with the Dalvahni warrior's attempts to function in the deep south. Although the romance stands alone in this book, the main characters from the first book in the series do make an appearance. You wouldn't be completely lost if listen to this first but having the information from the first book helps to understand the Dalvahni personality. I recommend this book to anyone who like paranormal romantic comedy.
