About this listen

The hot fae guy I'm in love with thinks of me like a sister…doesn't he?

I've been trying to make him see that we're more than just friends for months, to no avail.

But then we find an entire society of fae women, who threaten to take me from him.

And he steals me away to his house to make sure no one can remove me from his side.

Even after a night in his bed, he won't admit what he feels for me. So, I develop a plan.

Make the man jealous, while also figuring out a way to deal with the wild female fae who seem to want to make all of the men bleed.

I don't know if it's going to work…but I'm not walking away from this man until he realizes that I should be his mate.

*This is the third in a series of steamy connected standalones. Humor and happily ever after guaranteed ;)

By far my favorite book.

I’ve been excitedly waiting to listen to Ervo and Mari’s love story. Even tho I pretty much figured out from the beginning he was hooked on Mari by his fierce protectiveness and reactions to her. Of course the lack understanding with each others cultures is totally logical so misunderstandings is expected.
Now that being said- Holy cow Ervo you stud muffin! I love the fact he takes badass and scruples seriously and doesn’t hesitate for one second to do what’s right and take off people’s heads without even thinking twice. I really like his stoicism. For me it’s a sign of deeper hidden feelings. And Mmmmm masculinity is always a good thing! I kept finding myself saying “give him your name, give him your damn name” out loud with every other sentence in the beginning of the book. With that I realized I was invested in the characters and their stories. The smoothness and writing abilities of our author was incredible and I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
No disrespect intended for the narrator, it’s a talent to perform throughout an entire book. Lord knows I couldn’t do it. But I just don’t think her voice was a good fit. When reading this book first, I imagined her voice being softer- to reflect Mari’s personality- as it was portrayed in the first book of the series and the accents of the wild hunt men should have been more consistent. Sometimes women just don’t do well with men’s voices.
Don’t let my personal opinions stop you from listening to this book because it’s a great listen and I’m sure you’ll love the characters as much as I do.

Couldn’t finish

The narration was awful. The accent totally took me out of the story. I was enjoying the series but I couldn’t finish this one.
