Anything but business as usual.
Billionaire CEO Nic Price lives for his job. With sales down and grumbling from the board of directors - including Nic’s permanently dissatisfied father - the last thing Nic needs is distraction from the new manny, whose freewheeling approach to childcare is outlandish...and who makes Nic feel things he’s never allowed himself to feel.
Ex-teacher Sasha Lindsey is all about fun - that’s the reason people love him, so he has to be. After a bad break-up leaves him jobless and homeless, the live-in manny job with Mr. Price seems like a windfall. But his chemistry with Nic is off the charts, and he can’t afford another workplace romance disaster.
Can Nic leave his dominance in the bedroom and open his heart to the best thing that’s ever happened to him? Or will Sasha’s leap of faith backfire and ruin his chances at the family happily-ever-after he’s always dreamed of?

If you're looking for gay fiction close to literature, this is the type of story for you. If you're looking for fun, I wouldn't recommend it for that. The developing daddy/boy relationship is very good listening, but as imperfect as something like real life. The absentee father was very realistic and may be a trigger (it was for me). John Solo is a good narrator.
Pretty serious stuff

Nic is the CEO of his family's corporation and he's working round the clock to ensure it gets back on track. It's hit a downtrend and his father is threatening to have him removed if he doesn't turn things around in 6 weeks. On top of work stress, he's also the guardians of his 16 yr old niece and 12 yr old nephew who have been causing trouble and skipping school. Nannies have come and gone and he's going out of his mind. So, when his friend and assistant hires Sasha, he can't wait to meet her and make sure she's capable.
Sasha had nothing. He was in a relationship with his coworker, which landed him jobless and looking for another math teaching position. When nothing was available, he accepted the position to be a manny.
I loved how insightful Sasha was, and how many great ideas he had to make the kids actually want to learn and be a family.
The slow burn was ever present. I loved both MC's so much and was totally invested in their relationship and happiness from the start. This was so well written and flowed so seamlessly. I seriously enjoyed the heck out of it and this will be one that I will end up re-reading for sure.
This was my first audio book narrated by John Solo and it was exceptional. With a story so well written there was so much room for emphasis on the character's tone and the overall delivery, which had me from the start. This audio version of Angela McAllister's story is brilliantly executed.
Exceptionally done
