Based on a true story

When I finished the book this reminded me of that quote "the things you own end up owning you" passion is a double edge sword and the characters resonate with real themes, obsession of things, neglect of family, and overall love and respect for family even though it wasn't always reciprocated.

One of the audio books I’ve heard in a very long time.

I loved this book, written so beautifully with clarity and thoughtfulness. One could imagine being there throughout this journey from start to finish. I recommend this book in both mediums. The audio version was an added plus. Most enjoyable yo listen too as I have read both , hard cover and audio.
