in general I enjoyed the theme however the characters particularly the female characters were a little thin somewhat two dimensional I had the feeling life was happening to them and therefore found myself frustrated at times.

This was my first audible experience since I lost my vision. I was gratified and so pleased, a positive surprise, The story was we.. written and compelling.It will only be the first of many in the fuyture, I’m hooked!

The story at several points is unbelievable. I found myself thinking, no one is that stupid. I did want to keep listening and see how it ended. It's like an entertaining trash novel.

Loved the story-about a love story that produced a bi racial girl in a world where there were no other minorities, and her life of difficulties due to layers of secrets.
The problem with the overall audio of this book was that suddenly, the main character & all the characters to follow begins to speak with a Jamaican lilt- yet no one was from the Caribbean or elsewhere outside of Louisiana USA, Wales, or either Germany or England....

Great story but audio voice is messed up!

Where does The Color of Secrets rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I loved this book, it is easily my favorite listen of the year. I listened to the last hour and half on this morning's walk with my dog. And I was completely absorbed. So much so, that when I looked back at the route my gps tracked, I was confused because I didn't recall going that direction or walking so far. I really cannot recommend this book enough.
