Critic reviews

About The Copper Bracelet (Unabridged):

"This was like playing on an all-star team, and all the hits were home runs." (Lee Child)

"A feast for the senses, The Copper Bracelet continues the standard of excellence established by The Chopin Manuscript. Action, intrigue, suspense, they are all there. Another certified no-question-about-it-winner from a remarkable collection of talent. Bravo." (Steve Berry)

"What a blast to collaborate with some of the greatest suspense writers around on the thriller event of the year." (Joseph Finder)

"I can't think of a more enjoyable writing experience in my twenty-five years of being a fiction author than writing The Copper Bracelet and its predecessor, The Chopin Manuscript. We writers spend way too much time by ourselves in dark rooms, and it was a delight to emerge from the cave and hang out, so to speak, with my peers. I have to say that I sat down to read the manuscript with more than little trepidation. I needn't have worried. I was blown away...[and was] particularly fascinated to see how a group of authors with vastly varied writing styles and approaches to creativity produced such a cohesive thriller with a relentlessly fast-paced narrative. (And, okay, I'll admit, I got a voyeur's kick in seeing how my talented co-authors ply their craft.)" (Jeffery Deaver)

Interesting to hear any authors

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Not a movies man, so no. It is a round table chat after all

Any additional comments?

Enjoy hearing from Lee Child. He has so much more than the super super hero he has created

Just a roundtable talk, not the actual work

I was excited when I saw it was free, then I played it and realized it was the authors talking about the actual Copper Bracelet, oh well I guess nothing is really free!

Listen here for insight on the story.

Poor Jim Fusilli came out sounding nervous. The authors enjoyed talking to each other. Enjoy.

Misleading Marketing of FREE E-book.

This was given to me free as an Audible book. This is NOT a book. Just another sneaky Saver bait and switch. The third time is the charm...I'll never fall for one of Jeffrey Deaver's “FREE" offers again.

Not worth a credit!

This piece is certainly not worth a book credit. I should have been more careful and read all of the details. I understand that it was my mistake. But seriously, a credit for 26 minutes of authors talking when I thought I was getting a book was a real disapointment.

A nearby verbal altercation should have been stopped before proceeding with the interview.

At first I looked outside to see where the yelling noise was coming from. Not hearing any noise from outside, I realized that the loud yelling and arguing heard near the foreground of the interview was quite a distraction.

I think it would have been very difficult to be interviewed with a loud argument occurring nearby. Severing the distraction from the interview was not always possible. Other than the taint of the distraction, the review was enjoyable and enlightened one about the process of writing the book, the research conducted concerning the availability of water in the future, and the selection of China as a place of concern relating to water usage forty years from now.
