Justine Eyre
A centuries-old curse, a mysterious amulet, and a young love reignite a vendetta that had died down long ago…When seventeen-year-old Samantha goes on a school-exchange trip to Scotland, she takes with her an old pendant that she found amongst her grandmother's belongings. As soon as she arrives at her host family's home, she is drawn into the country's tales and myths. Then she meets the dangerously attractive Scot Payton - a mysterious Highlander who soon conquers Sam's heart. Caught up in her feelings, she doesn't realize how much danger she's in. Payton's past holds a dark secret. A secret that has bound together both their families' fates for hundreds of years and is now also endangering Sam's life.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
The book is good but I had to take some breaks during this because the accents were sooo thick. She did a great job with this book and bringing it to life. Ready for the next.Any additional comments?

Is there anything you would change about this book?
Well, I'm not a writer and I'm not the best person to suggest changes in the plot. But, the story start very well, very exciting. After some chapter, the story gets predictable and annoying. However on the end, we have a change of events and the story gets interesting.Would you recommend The Curse to your friends? Why or why not?
Probably yes, because we have good moments.Have you listened to any of Justine Eyre’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I like Justine Eyre, and I think she did a wonderful job, as Always.Could you see The Curse being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
I don't know... maybe could be adapted for tv.... I think could be interesting.Good start and end, but...
