good

I like that it shows that there's a Chance for some crossover and it shows more Zane and Brooks Rel.
relationship.

It was ok

The last story is worth the price on its own the rest are interesting, I did skip a few to get to the last, I honestly didn’t care about them much, might listen another time. Hopefully Riordan starts a new series with more Celtic lore.

Another Winner from the Riordan Universe

One liner: Fans of Percy Jackson will love this collection of short stories from the Rick Riordan Presents worlds.

The book ends with Rick Riordan giving us a new hero in the world of Celtic Myhology. It ends at the exact point a new series could kick off. Wishful thinking?

My son and I love reading the Rick Riordan and Rick Riordan presents books together. This was a great chance to visit old friends and see them in a new adventure. It is also a great way to test out if you want to jump into the Rick Riordan Presents world if you haven't already.

I am thankful for the electronic copy of the book that I received from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review. I purchased the audible version on my own.

Not standalone stories

These are not standalone stories and frequently reference other books. You're expected to already know and like the characters (except for the Gifted Carnival and Child Outlaw). The mix of mythologies was pretty impressive and narration was well done across the board. I would read the other books first or just pass on this.

Teasers, not short stories

This book is a compilation of “stories”. Honestly, I really struggled with this one. The stories seem much more like excerpts from larger stories, so I often felt like I was starting on like the 3rd book in the series and then lots of cliffhangers. I am not sure if these stories are excerpts, but if so, it would be nice if you were told from what books/series. The stories are well written overall, but I felt like I was missing a lot of details and storyline. Left me wanting more and unsatisfied.
