An insightful resource for stoicism

An insightful resource for stoicism. There is lots of sound ageless advice for living a better life. The fact that it is 52 hours long means it offers a lot and allows you to listen whenever you have time. However, I can understand some listeners may find this too long. Regardless, it's a great book.

Great collection of knowledge

Surprisingly lot of the knowledge in this book still can be used in today's world. Some people are so far ahead of their time. This is a long listen, but worth it if you are going on a long drive. A lot of the things in the book remind me of Buddhism but in a different way.

Ancient Wisdom that still apply to living our Best

The Definitive Stoicism Collection combines three audiobooks into one. Stoic philosophy flourished in ancient Greece and Rome for many years and still applies today. This audiobook collection equips us with the knowledge to manage our anger, minds, marriages, children, and environment and comprehend our methods, actions, and principles of living a moral and purposeful life. From beginning to end, this audiobook is filled with things I would embed in my mind and heart. Marcus Aurelius' meditation was beautiful, and we received a PDF workbook for further assistance. The letters were so numerous yet encouraging that I found it easy to listen to them. Epictetus depicted taking control and remaining uninfluenced by external chance or change in his well-stated statements of Stoic philosophy (Enchiridion and Discourses). I loved every minute of the audio despite how long it was. It kept me interested and made me glad that I chose it. I recommend this audio to others interested in applying outstanding wisdom to their lives.

So Much Wisdom

This collection is a great intro to Stoicism. There’s so much wisdom here that can be applied to daily life, whether it's staying calm in tough situations or focusing on what’s within our own control. Epictetus’ teachings helped shift my perspective on dealing with challenges. Even though the texts are really old, they're full of advice that helps you approach life with a clear mind and resilience in today's world.
