About this listen
A copycat killer is recreating Jamie's old cases, and the victims are all too familiar ...
When bodies are discovered in the open, the killings seeking to reenact Jamie's previous investigations, the team picks up the trail. A single killer is working from the shadows with ruthless efficiency, claiming victims before Jamie can even take a breath. But what's his endgame and what message is he trying to send?
As Jamie starts to close in on the culprit, she begins to buckle under the weight of her own career. The monsters she's worked so hard to lock away are clawing their way out, and as the bodies start piling up, the team is pushed to their breaking point. A devious mind is working to divide them, to get Jamie on her own. To get her in the open. To make his final move.
But when the hammer finally drops, what then? Who is this mysterious puppeteer pulling all of their strings, and why is Jamie squarely in his crosshairs? Finding the killer won't be easy, and Jamie will have to retrace her own steps, peeling back the layers of her own life to see where she put a foot wrong, where she went too far, and where she made the mistake that's come back to haunt her. The problem is ... there's lots of them, and the list of people with an axe to grind isn't short. But who among Jamie's collars, catches, and kills is the one she wants, and will she be able to find them ... before they find her?
