The fourth title in the Ryan Lock thriller series.
Convicted of a series of horrific crimes against female college students in Santa Barbara, wealthy playboy Charlie Mendez has fled across the US border into Mexico.
As one bounty hunter after another meets a grisly end at the hands of the murderous drug cartel Mendez is paying to keep him safe it seems that he is destined to remain beyond the reach of the law.
But Mendez hasn't reckoned with former military bodyguard, Ryan Lock, and his partner, Ty Johnson....

What about Elijah Alexander’s performance did you like?
Elijah Alexander gave a very good performance. I would listen to him again. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
In one day anyway.Any additional comments?
The Devil's Bounty starts out with a bang - literally. A young woman is shot I'm the abdomen trying to find Ryan Lock. Obviously there are people out there who don't want her to find him, don't want him helping her or getting involved in any way. Lock patches her up and rushes her to the hospital where he gets the story.
Seems there's a fugitive (Charlie Mendez) on the run, sentenced to prison with out parole for raping young women with the use of a date rape drug and video taping the whole thing. He runs to Mexico and that's where the similarities end. This guy had some pretty bad people looking out for him and then the murders of the young factory workers is worked into the story.
This book is hair raising and very entertaining as long as you don't think about the fact that some of this is loosely based on reality. Moves along at a good clip.
The Ryan Lock character reminds me very much of Nathan McBride by Andrew Peterson. I have enjoyed both of these series immensely.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
