As a child with a solid Apostolic heritage, I feel blessed. But this book reveals a mixture of emotions that have left its imprint on my life to this day. I cannot say that my home growing up was without flaws, but as we all know, the adversary is always at work to steal, kill and destroy every current member and even those adopted extended ones. In some he has succeeded, others he is still trying, and others are across that bloodline. My parents took in the lost, strays, abused, abandoned... of every kind. That allowed me to see and experience the "damaged goods" that came to stay. Sometimes it was just as Bro. Frazier was growing up"a little here and a little there." I often resented the turmoil and unwanted responsibilities these individuals(babies to young adults)caused upon entering our home and lives and the neglect we may have felt at times or just getting used to them. Next thing you know, they were gone without goodbyes and just left with us picking up the pieces.
But after listening to Bro. Frazier's testimony it left me feeling something that words cannot adequately describe with words... maybe tenderness, spiritual sensitivity, compassion, remorse. Heavily burdened is the only one I can clearly identify... through his words, I could glimpse and recall the similarities of what generational curses cause. Oh, I knew of some of the horror stories. Still, unfortunately, the majority have never been able to find their healing and break that generational curse, but if their thoughts are like his were towards the apostolic home he went stayed at gives me the courage to continue reaching for them.
Lastly, I never expected to finish reading this book and feel as if I had just been in one of those powerful, convicting, and beckoning services. Bro. Frazier, thank you for not keeping your testimony hidden but for taking the step in faith and through your hurdles to deliver this in order to help "that" someone! I'm humbled and honored! God Bless!
