This is definitely one of my favorite series. Martha and Michael are a great team.

Great Dark Elf series

The authors’ world building shines. In this book you get to meet awesome sassy new characters and uncover new wonders of the world that the authors have built. The story continues to drive forward, with Cheyenne kicking ass and taking on some bad ass villains and turns of fate. The other reviews dwell on Cheyenne’s character’s inability to maintain mature boundaries and quit whining, and it is a little slow moving that her immaturity is the only tool for suspense a couple of times in the plot, But the characters remain page turningly witty and the story continues to dazzle. Starting book 6 immediately.

Fun Series, Fun book

The authors brought the Goth-Drow's level of childish petulance to such new heights that I almost had to stop listening. However, my fondness for the storyline won out in the end. I hope they can tone it down. It is one thing to worry about one's parent, but it is over-the-top to act like your mother, a strong politically connected woman, is too fragile to help save herself.

ANNOYING PETULANCE vs. Good Story
