About this listen

Held by the Enemy in a Land Far, Far Away?

The Land of Five is being systematically torn apart by war, and witch Lilith Lace has a number of problems. First - having been captured in the Battle of Ignis by the Elemental Coven, she's now being held - well, she really has no idea where, so getting back home again is going to be hard, if not outright impossible.

Especially since she has to cope with the deaths of everyone she's ever loved while being held captive.

Unable to decide between escape and giving up completely, Lilith is presented with a new challenge when she learns that the infamous rouge witch, Willow, is not only alive and well but played a larger role in Lilith's childhood accident than she ever imagined.

Everything Lilith's ever known is in flux. Friends are becoming enemies and enemies are becoming friends. Will Lilith finally get to the bottom of her past among the ranks of the Elemental Coven, or will she instead get hurt worse than anything she's encountered so far?

Fantastic Listen

The Elemental Coven was a very well planned book. I listened to this book before the first in the series and I never felt lost or like I was missing something. The story moved at a steady pace and introduced information and characters at an easy pace. The story took lots of twist and turns and I never quite knew what would happen next. I liked the characters as well. This was more plot driven then character driven I felt. I will continue with the series.

The narration was good. I would of liked slightly more distinction in some of the voices. I felt Lynn Norris added to the book with her emotion.

I received a copy of this audiobook at my request, and I have voluntarily left this review.

Good Addition to The Witch’s Ambitions Trilogy Series

I enjoyed book 1 in this series and was looking forward to seeing where the story would go. The story continues with some twists and turns I did not see coming. The story was interesting and kept my attention.

Narration was well done and brought the story to life. I love that this narrator makes each character unique and you can easily understand who is speaking.

The story moves at a slow pace with great description of situations and the surroundings. This book picks up a bit towards the conclusion and leaves us hanging again with a cliffhanger.

It was an enjoyable book and I’m looking forward to finding out what happens when the story wraps up in the next final book.

a good listen

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

As with the first book, I was very pleasantly suprised to find a story that doesn't follow the normal witch tropes. It takes a different approach to witches and magic. This one didn't have the same slowness issues as book 1. The narrator continues to do a good job on the narration. All in all, a good listen if you're a fantasy/paranormal fan. I am definitely looking forward to more in the series.

Great performance by Lynn Norris

Liked this story but wish it were longer. I suppose this being a series it will flow into the next. Lynn Norris does a great job narrating. Her accents and character accents are spot on

So good! Definitely Recommend!

Excellent Y/A paranormal about witches and their different covens, different powers and the organization the rules over them.

Can't wait for the next one!

Excellent Story!

Since there are numerous stories in this genre, I went into this with zero expectations. I was pleasantly surprised with this one. It's a witch civil war! The writing and narration are both impeccable in this tale. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book.

I liked the story but

I like the story and I give it five stars because it was very well written but I do have some but about the main character I understand her age but we all do things the topping to her I would have expected someone a bit more mature .... but over all the book was great

Slightly addictive

Though a bit lost since I had not read the first book in the series, I did find my way within the first hour or so of the story. I'm not a fan of how the main character acts as though she's too good for everyone, but I could put that aside for the other aspects of the story. In its essence, this is a story about loss and coming to terms with the fact that what you believed with your whole being may not have been true.
