About this listen

Nicholas Flamel appeared in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter - but did you know he really lived? And his secrets aren't safe! Discover the truth in book six of Michael Scott’s New York Times best-selling series the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel. The Location: The home of the Elders. The Time: The last day of Nicholas and Perenelle Flamel's long existence.

The two that are one must become the one that is all. One to save the world, one to destroy it.

Sophie and Josh Newman traveled 10,000 years into the past following Dr. John Dee and Virginia Dare to the home of the Elders at Danu Talis. But this is no ordinary island - it is the legendary city of Atlantis, and Scathach, Prometheus, Palamedes, Shakespeare, Saint-Germain, and Joan of Arc are also there.

Here, as the Flamels take their final breaths, the battle for the world begins and ends. Except no one is sure what - or who - the twins will be fighting for.

I have enjoy this series very much. I liked the little twist on historical figures and the histories of the world. I think this book was a good ending to the series. The only thing that keep bothering me was the small inconsitiances in the story line from book to book. But that seems to plague almost every author. I hope you will enjoy this book as much as I have.

Good Ending

This is such a great story. Family seems to be very important whether the characters are related or not. I caught myself several times gasping at things that were happening up until the very end. The only thing is I’m very sad it’s over.

Family Ties You Together

More than a children’s book. It gave us, almost 60 years old much yoy..the integration of myths from different cultures is very enyoiable.

I love fantasy books and this one was great even though it definitely gives off Mormon vibes; however The civilization of the people was too much like Egypt for the gods named Isis and Osiris to have blue eyes. It felt like white washing history and made me very upset.

Blue eyes one Egyptian Gods
