About this listen

A radio broadcast, an eerie encounter, and a battle with old foes signals a new dawn for Wren, Robyn and Mila.

Edinburgh used to be the sisters’ home, their sanctuary. But now it’s neither.

The storm clouds that surrounded Safe Haven are travelling south, and with them comes a danger that threatens to tear their world apart.

Today, they’ll be tested like never before.

Today, they’ll risk their freedom, their lives and their loved ones to do the right thing.

Will they make it back home or has their luck finally run out?

Continues to be the best zombie series ever!

I say it every review: this is the best you can ever hope for and it even surpasses that hope! I can’t believe how amazing this story line is. How much I love these girls and all of the characters. I did miss Mike in this one though.
You want to be there friend. You want to be one of them.
Looks like Olsens army will be heavy in the next one. Ready for that b***h to die! Will they ever find peace.
Seriously enjoyed Lola and her Aunt and the is she a ghost part of this. It was funny!
Artinian and Bretton are a dynamic duo. She is the voice of all of his series and I can’t imagine anyone else narrating her books. 10/10 for every one of his books!

New characters!!!

Equals more fighters… or potentially RAM folder…
😉 when you think they’ve faced it all turns out they haven’t!
I’m so proud of Willow! The poor girl had one of the worst days of her life, instead of crumbling she fought when needed and ran when she could.
Another character to aspire to be, possibly in another year or two of training.
Holy moly do these girls have the craziest challenges to overcome again! Everything felt like it came down to the barest second, the worst part is knowing no one is truly safe considering all the loved characters we have already mourned.
So fun getting to listen before I read, well done Kim!
Great planning Chris, thank you for listening to all your avid audio fans!
Thanks Tina for the code, I don’t know why it glitched but I was more than happy to purchase to be the first reviewer (maybe, others may have already by the time this posts).

Everything you know and love, witty banner, tons of action and close calls keeping you fully engaged till the very end
Kim, once again, does a fantastic job bringing these characters to life
This along with the Safe haven series is one of the best blended storylines on the market. Can’t recommend it enough. 5stars

Robyn and Wren Returned Home

I enjoyed book 13 of "The End Of Everything" series. Because of a radio broadcast, Robyn and Wren returned to Edinburgh. Mila accompanied the sisters on their journey. The new story contained everything that I've come to expect in this author's stories. There were new characters; some good and some not so good. There were moments of confrontation between the protagonists and others. There were several snarky comments and humorous dialogue between Robyn, Wren, and Mila. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Kim Bretton's narration reflected the ambiance of the story and added to the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Tense

There are a lot of anxiety inducing moments in this book. Our favorite characters go on a pretty wild ride, gathering both people and information. I was on the edge of my seat listening to some of this, and laughing or crying with the characters.

Impetuous Robyn!

Robyn hears a radio broadcast from their old hometown of Edinburgh and she is determined to find out if this might be the answer to their hopes and needs. This mysterious communication promises a safe place with plenty of supplies and the possibility of finding old friends and family. However, Wren and Mila caution her that it might instead be a trap. But, they know that Robyn will go no matter what they say, so the three young women (along with Wren's faithful companion, Wolf) slip away during the night so they won't be stopped.

Soon, they find themselves up against numerous obstacles, including a biker gang, a quasi-Army (which might be from Olsen), and multiple packs of the undead. There is plenty of action, a lot of near-death experiences, and plenty of undead encounters as the group tries to reach their destination.

This series is one of my favorites, mostly due to the wonderful characters that the author has created. Amidst dangerous encounters with monsters (of both the zombie and human variety), you have plenty of snarky dialogue, emotional meltdowns, and meeting some new friends along the way. I especially like the way that people with medical conditions and disabilities are introduced and dealt with as the characters fight for their survival.

The fact that this trio of young women are able to handle pretty much anything that comes along is very refreshing. They certainly aren't anybodies damsels in distress! This book is a great lead-in to what I am sure will be a final battle with the villainous Olsen and her Army of minions. I can't wait for that to happen!

The narrator does her usual fantastic job and her performance really brings this book to life. Listening to it is almost like having a movie play in your head.
