Publisher's summary

They thought escaping the undead hordes was their ticket to freedom. They couldn't have been more wrong.

Now Wren and Robyn must face a new enemy and a kind of danger like no other they have encountered.

Their success means a chance of survival for everyone they care about. Their failure means the end of everything they have fought for.

For these two sisters time is running out fast and the sun is setting on the longest day of their lives.

Just one question still remains, will they get to see the dawn?

The sister’s story continues...

The End of Everything: Book Nine by Christopher Artinian and narrated by Kim Bretton is another great one! Recommend if you’ve been following the series and if you haven’t, what are you waiting for? Seriously, go pick up book one. Fast-paced action, twists and turns, strong sibling relationship, and more is what awaits you.

What’s it about? Book nine picks up where the previous one left off with Wren, Mila, and Robyn trying to survive the events of Inverness and attempting to make their way back to Safe Haven. A new enemy, TrueBit, comes into play. This is another fast-paced story of survival, the sister’s love & banter, and struggles. Who to trust or not to trust? Run from or kill the zombies? To fall in love or risk any feelings? What weapon to pick? So many choices…
I’m loving the dynamic Mila brings to the group. Despite the girls being in the apocalypse, there’s always a couple comments of theirs that make me smile. Another plus? You get Chapter One of Safe Haven at the end and yes, you should totally be listening to it if you haven’t.

The narrator, Kim Bretton, was fantastic as usual. I have no complaints on her narrations and I can’t imagine anyone else voicing the sisters. Kim brings something special to the story and helps make the series stand out.

I highly recommend this series and Christopher’s other series. For those who haven’t listened to any of the books, clear your schedule when you do decide to listen because they are difficult to put down.

“Everybody had to peddle in something and hate was her preferred stock.”
“People always wanted to blame someone else for their own misfortune, and if somebody could offer them a reason for all the things that were bad in their lives, they would grasp on to it with both hands and never let go.”

Parental guidance/trigger warnings: As I’ve said before with these books, this is the zombie apocalypse with not nice people doing not nice things. If you can’t handle violence, death, or like things, this is probably not the book for you. This chapter of the sisters story might hit closer to home than previous books due to the TrueBrit group- politics, religion, extremists (I will leave it at that). Language used- Sx15 in German, Sx25 in English.

Lose Lips Sink Ships, Do Not Trust A Pretty Face!

Chris is one of my favorite authors, he has created a world and characters that you love and become invested in their survival.
Kim gives life to the sister’s world and it feel’s like you are right there experiencing the journey with the girls! She is definitely the voice of the sisters. This series just keeps getting better with each book! This story was a nonstop action packed thrill ride from start to finish! Gotta love those Religious Neo-Nazis in the world!
Hopefully the girls will not share so much information next time with a stranger!
If you have not read this series or the sister Safe Haven series, Then what are you waiting for????
You are really missing out!

100 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This series is so damn amazing! Just finished book 9 EOE about 10 mins ago! I laughed several times and I almost cried a few. So damn good! These girls are the absolute best. I want to be their friend. I want to be them!
Seriously this is one of the best series ever. The Safe Haven books are just as good, only more testosterone! Lol
Kim Bretton is the best voice for these series seriously couldn’t imagine anyone else narrating them. I kind of love her too! I wonder if the smart-aasness of the girls has made its way in to her own personality!
Artinian is a genius! So glad I found out about both of these series and I hope they NEVER end.

great series

I have listened to this series all week. The only gripe I've had in the whole series is that the Chancellor voice sounded like an old person like Larry instead of a mid 40's woman.

Two Peas in a Pod

This book is another great addition to a great series by an amazing author! It grabs you from the very beginning and the action doesn't stop until the last page.

Wren and Robyn have rescued their friend, Mila, from her captivity as zombie fodder, but now they have to get out of Inverness and back to Safe Haven. Of course, this won't be easy. Along the way, they meet a handsome young man and Wren is immediately smitten. Will this be a good thing or will things go south?

They also come upon a troupe of actors living in the woods and find a few eccentric new friends there. I enjoyed the inclusion of a young man on the autism spectrum along with his sister. I always find it interesting to imagine how people who are differently abled might cope during a zombie apocalypse.

And don't forget Wren's faithful canine companion, Wolf, who really shines in this book. Mila is becoming one of my favorite characters and I especially love her German snarkiness since I lived in Germany for 2 years. She fits right in with Robyn and Wren's back and forth chatter.

This book will keep you on the edge of your seat as you travel along with the characters. You never know when one of the undead is going to jump out to grab you or when another villain is going to try to enslave you.

The author is able to write an action-packed horror story, while at the same time giving the characters depth and emotion. I found myself laughing and crying at times and this book is full of angst. I have finally decided the appeal of this genre: In the face of almost insurmountable odds, there is still hope.

Kim Bretton is one of my favorite narrators and she does a great job with this book (as always). Perfect pacing, great accents/voices and an all around wonderful performance. I don't know how many books Mr. Artinian has planned in the Safe Haven world, but I hope he doesn't stop anytime soon!

Just continues to get better

As always I love the two sisters. They are hilarious as they banter back and forth while trying to survive a zombie apocalypse. Their new friend Mila is just as funny and sarcastic with a German accent to boot. The author keeps us going with intense action and many surprises. At one point I was like "Oh no!", but the sisters and Mila along with some new friends manage to figure things out yet again. The narrator always brings these characters to life and you seem to feel like you are walking and fighting along side them. I can't wait to find out what happens next. I highly recommend this audiobook. You won't regret a minute of your time.
