Joseph Anderson has been successful in finding brides for his two eldest sons. In this book he finds the perfect match for his youngest son, Mark. Mark has a billion dollar ranch operation that takes many employees to run successfully. He loses his cook and leaves it to his father to find a new one. Little does Mark know that Joseph is far more interested in her marriage potential than her cooking skills. Luckily, he finds a woman who can not only cook, but will make the perfect bride for his son. Emily Jackson is on the run from someone who wants to take her five year old son from her. She ends up in a small town in Washington and is thrilled to find an ad in the paper for a live in cook. When she starts work at the beautiful ranch, sparks fly with her new boss, who is sexier than any cowboy has the right to be. She doesn't want to risk having an affair with her boss and losing her job so she fights the attraction until passion overcomes them both. Take the journey with Mark and his family as the youngest Anderson finds his bride.

This book definitely is not one you want to miss. To know what’s going on, listening to the first two books is helpful. However, if you want to pick just one from the series, this should be it.
A different kind of brother

The Billionaire Falls was a bit of a disappointment. I never complain about this in my reviews, but this book was sorely in need of an editor. Melody Anne didn't bother to write a story that made any sense and that flowed. Mark is a billionaire in his own right and he is the younger son of the billionaire Joseph Anderson. Joseph has matched his other two sons Lucas and Alex with there wives and now it Marks turn. He matches Mark with a young widow who is on the run with her 5yr. old son. Her in laws want to take custody of Trevor away from her and they have a court order She refers to them as ex in laws. She didn't divorce her husband before he died in a auto accident so why refer to them as EX. It was just a poor choice of language. She also refers to her deceased husband as EX instead of deceased. Joseph and his family show up repeatedly in the story but where is Catherine the mother. She is mention 2 times in the entire story. She didn't even have any kind of banter in the story with Emily. She was present in bk1 and 2 and spent time with Amy and Jessica her daughter in laws. Then there is this stalker that comes from nowhere and kidnaps Emily. Mark and his hands find her very quickly before any harm can come to her. The scenario with the in laws or Trevor's grandparents and the Stalker were just poorly written. I guess it was too add drama to the story but It failed, This was not a well written story in either scenarios. I did like Emily's character, but it was unbelievable that she was married to a rich man and had never been to a spa. Mark was great with Emily and Trevor and I like his character. I don't think we even know Emily's dead husband's name. This story was just poorly done. I am glad it was Free!! Don't Pay for this Book. It is not worth it.
GREAT NARRATION!!

What made the experience of listening to The Billionaire Falls the most enjoyable?
The plot and story line worked for me. I'm a sucker for single moms in needing to be saved. What was one of the most memorable moments of The Billionaire Falls?
I loved the beginning. I love getting to know Emily and seeing her meet Mark for the first time. It really set the tone and pace for the rest of the bookWhich character – as performed by Lilly Swan – was your favorite?
This is my first book by Lilly and I really enjoyed her voice. I found it very female, but not too girlie and she sounded like a well rounded motherIf you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
hmm.... sweet treat readAny additional comments?
My full book review4 Sweet Romance Stars
This is my first Melody Anne book and I did the audio version. I skipped around the series and let’s just say it’s because I am a sucker for single mothers.
Emily is a single mom and looking for work. She lands a job at a ranch as a cook. She’s on the run and we do not know why.
She gets the job through Joseph, but she soon realizes her boss is the son, Mark. Mark is very attracted to Emily.
I love the summary of the book and it was a sweet, feel-good novel, perfect to listen to. I really enjoyed the female narrator. She sounds like a mom, but not too young. Her pace was perfect and the length of the book worked for me too.
I enjoyed the beginning the most because it totally set the story up and it was adorable when Emily finds out who Mark is. I love how Mark pursued Emily and it didn’t matter that she had a son. I also loved the little boy as well. Mark’s family takes Emily in as one of their own and it’s like a said sweet to listen to.
As you progress more in the story, bits of Emily past are revealed and we find out why she is on the run. As her past comes to threaten her stay at the ranch, super alpha male, Mark steps in to save her. I love me my damsel in distress.
A very sweet novel and it won’t be my last from Melody Anne.
A sweet novel, very enjoyable.

Very sexy intriguing

This book is a breath of fresh air, with a strong lead characters, set on a ranch and far removed from the ridiculousness of the original plot line of Joseph and his emotionally challenged eldest sons.
My advice? Skip books one and two and just read this book as a stand alone! It's very sweet and steamy especially if you're into ranchers ;)
Best in the series! In fact, skip books 1 & 2!
