Publisher's summary

In the news business, owning the headlines comes with a deadly cost.

JJ Cavendish thought she’d escaped her dark past. After publishing her tell-all memoir, she’s ready to settle down with Claire and devote her attention to running a scrappy online news venture. But when her new business partner exploits JJ’s notoriety to keep the company afloat, avoiding the limelight becomes impossible.

As JJ keeps hungry movie producers at bay, she fields an intriguing offer from an old enemy who could help her expose a cyberbully, stop a string of suicides, and get her company the scoop it needs. To bring the story to light, JJ and her team must brave the darkest corners of the web and hope her own name doesn’t make the headlines in the process.

The Fall Girl is the second installment in the Miracle Girl, a captivating series of lesbian romantic-suspense novels. If you like pulse-pounding plots and exploring the darker side of social media, then you’ll love T.B. Markinson’s gripping story.

Great story

I’m a big fan listening to TJ Richards read to me, Her voice is unique and has a way of pulling you into the storyline. I’m glad TB wrote book two as you get to explore the life of JJ and Clair. I feel that she left this one open ended and I’m hoping for a book 3 in the series. I’d highly recommend both books. Non well done TB and TJ

Brilliant sequel

This is a Great book and the second instalment of the Miracle Girl series. In this brilliant sequel Markinson does a wonderful job by showing us flaw, human characters and a nicely flowed plot.

JJ Cavendish and Claire Nichols are enjoying their relationship, more in love than ever and expanding their family with a baby girl. Everything is going well despite of JJ and her friend Cora are struggling with their own and brand new news portal online. JJ is trying to find a way to stop travelling so much and to fulfil Claire’s dream of becoming a full time mum. When a very well-known enemy from her past comes back to shatter their peace, with a story they can’t refuse.

Things get shaky to say the least and very intense on the “battle field”, JJ’s life becomes a living hell and starts falling apart bit by bit. It is a bumpy ride with all the trials and tribulations that occurs while digging deep in the dark net and trying to find the answers.

It is a very complete, great story with a lot of intrigue, many twists and turns, the lovable, complicated and interesting characters we all know and love, romance, steamy scenes, undoubtedly a very engaging one, well written and paced, solid research, and excellent tension. Impossible to stop listening once you begin.

Also TJ Richards does an excellent job with the narration of this magnificent story, she is capable of invoking strong emotions, making us live the story, get all the feels. A great complement to a grand story.

I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a good, well-written book.

Great Sequel

How far The Miracle Girl is now from her rise to the top. The difference is now she has Claire and the family that's always been so elusive. Yes, she had to bare her soul to the very bone in order to put things right, but there is nothing she won't do to protect those she loves, even be The Fall Girl.
Narration by TJ Richards was fabulous once again and with good material, she makes it look easy.

In the hot seat again

I felt sorry for JJ having to be used in such a way. I give her credit for not going back to her old habits. Her and Claire are growing their family and are struggling with their jobs. I like that they are still so hot for each other. This story takes many twists and turns that kept me wondering. I think TJ Richards did a wonderful job with the narration. The story was very exciting and I loved it.

Loved this one

This is a fitting sequel to The Miracle Girl. TJ Richards once again does a fantastic job narrating as JJ Cavendish. TB Markinson does a great job telling a story about cyber bullying and hiding behind the anonymity of the internet. This was an intriguing story with some mystery thrown in. Totally loved it! Really hoping there is another one coming for this series since the ending leaves you wondering.

A Great follow up to The Miracle Girl

This sequel to The Miracle Girl was fantastic...The Fall Girl is the second installment to this series. In this book, Claire and JJ are settling into their life together all the while JJ is coming fresh from her book tour, starting a new business adventure with her best friend/business partners and on the home front with Claire expanding there family. To bad normal see doesn’t fallow JJ for long. A person from her past comes along and persuades JJ & Cora (with a little bit of blackmail) to help look into some cyberbullying and some murders that have been taking place in the under belly of the dark web. Needless to say all hell breaks loose and nothing is as it seems... Now with that said, once I started listening to this book I found it very hard to stop. This story has some unexpected twists and turns that keeps you on the edge of your seat to the very end. While still incorporating the loving and sometimes steamy relationship between Claire and JJ. This book does come with a Cliffhanger of an ending, so my fingers are crossed that all these characters come back for a third book. Once again if you’ve read the books 📖 and loved them just as much as I did, Then I can’t imagine you would be disappointed in the audiobooks version. TJ Richards does a wonderful job in narrating this series. I was so absorbed in the story that it was difficult to imagine just one person doing all of the characters voices. “Bravo” to Markinson and Richards to a job well done!

Great sequel!

I liked The Miracle Girl, and I liked The Fall Girl just as much, but not for the same reasons. First of all, I'd read the first but I listened to the second one, and the narrator did a great job. Also, as a former journalist, I was very interested in the way the job was described, with all that's great about it but also all that's not so great (and sometimes really bad). The ending was quite open, so I really hope there's a third book coming.
