On The Run Suspense

What did you love best about The Fall Guy?

This rocket-paced thriller kept me intrigued and on the edge of my seat throughout the entire listen.

What other book might you compare The Fall Guy to and why?

As with THE FALL GUY, Simon Wood's compelling novels are one-of-a-kind. Even the secondary characters are intriguing, and the plot is intricate, yet easy to follow due to the writer's prowess to keep the reader focused. Wood is among the best of my favorite male crime fiction authors, including Gregg Hurwitz and James Lee Burke.

What does Ed Hunter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narrator brings the author's word to life. There's something about a book being read to you that adds an additional level of intrigue and suspense. Hunter hit all of the crescendos and the ease of differing characters' voicing made the listen easy to follow.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Even if you run, there's no turning back.

Any additional comments?

I am a true fan of Simon Wood's books and have yet to be displeased. I encourage new readers/listeners to put this author on their must-read list.

Fun suspense novella

Todd Collins made the mistake of hitting an expensive parked car and failing to leave his insurance or contact info. The criminal owner of his car and his thugs find Todd and manage to get him into deeper and deeper trouble. This is an outstanding suspense novella. Narration is as good as the story.
