About this listen

The orc broke him in battle. Now, he's aiming for his heart…

In a world of warring orcs and men, Lieutenant Aulis Gerrard can't afford to lose one more battle. But when he faces off against the biggest, most brutal berserker in the orcs' war-band, he knows he's met his doom…

Until the deadly orc drops his axe. Draws Gerrard close. And orders him… to run.

In the heat of the moment, caught in the orc's inexplicable thrall, Gerrard obeys—but the fallout costs him his rank, his position, and his pride. With little left to lose, he decides to hunt down the brazen brute in the forest and demand a rematch.

But the orc doesn't want just a rematch. He wants to court the pretty human lieutenant. To convert him. To conquer him…

Gerrard would never yield to high treason with an orc… right? Even if the devious devil offers up gifts, sweaty sparring matches, and sweet surrender in the dark. Because fraternizing with a fearsome, fallen enemy might destroy everything Gerrard has left… and leave his heart shattered, too.

The Fall of the Orc is a dark, angsty, MM fantasy romance. It comes after The Sins of the Orc but can be enjoyed as a total standalone. Happily ever after guaranteed.

Another Outstanding Fantastic Orc Novel

Ms. Fenn’s stories of Orc Mountain and its inhabitants never cease to entertain and amaze me. The love between an orc and a human soldier is a beautifully woven tale of love, war, and sacrifice. The narration made it even more compelling.

Happy tears

I’m generally not a fan of MM only BUT the culture of Orc Mountain is different than the human culture in the stories written about. So that being said I LOVED this story. An earlier point in time bringing down the Evil Orc leaders we have two worn down warriors in a never ending war. Together they put an end to one. The struggle between duty for their orc/human kinsman and each other is so well written that you’re right there in the moment. Laugh, cry, cringe and of course no self respecting Orc doesn’t have a great scheme planned. Of course we all know that will seriously backfire at some point. 👍❤️

Olaf and Aulis

Against the backdrop of war two opposed warriors meet. We've read about them in the background of several books, and now their story is here. Each new book in the Orc Forged series becomes my favorite and that is true here. So much world building. All the previous stories have the war in the background but here it is front and center. Life out on the fields of war and encampments. No long treks to Orc Mountain. Aulis is exhausted and tired of the endless war. The cost of greedy lazy men and greedy orcs is apparent in the lives of the soldiers. It's a lovely story. Two minds come together to hatch a plan to solve their problem. James Joseph gives a great performance. Loved all the voices.

An unconventional Love Story

First of all I just love Finley Fenn’s writing…her gift for storytelling is so captivating. From the first chapter to the last she keeps you engaged and entertained. I don’t usually submit a review but would like to encourage all who enjoy this kind of fantasy story to give this new series Orc Forged a chance you won’t be disappointed.

Loved this audio performance

I had read the ebook when it was released. A year later, I listened to this audiobook. It was so well done, and I loved hearing the story a second time. I'm sure I will listen to the audiobook many times. I love Finley Fenn's Orc books so much. They are fantastic!

True enemies to lovers

This book is a true enemies to lovers romance. Olarr and Aulis’ relationship is set against the backdrop of war. Two people from different sides who are exhausted with the endless fighting. It still manages to be the sweetest romance in either Orc Forged or Orc Sworn series to date in my opinion. I loved finally seeing the full story between Olarr and Aulis that has been hinted at throughout the series.

It was absolutely wonderful and gave me a true book hangover when I finished it. I cannot recommend it enough.
