About this listen

In this novel filled with friendship, grief, and travel gone awry, three friends take their dream trip to Florence, Italy in memory of a beloved woman who has passed away.

As the last will of a close friend is read, three women discover that they have inherited a legacy from her: the funds to take a dream trip to Florence, Italy, in her memory. With plenty of hilarious travel mishaps along the way, this book is a story of deep friendship, of making room in our lives to celebrate and remember, of grief, of the realization that friendship keeps the memory alive, and the sweet discovery of unexpected romance.

A captivating and delightful read

The story line was so in step with normal life and its twists and turns. It was relatable, funny, stressed, loving, spiritual and real. I can’t wait to read more of her books!!

Enjoyed Italy insights and reminder to pray and express gratitude

Loved traveling along! Going to Italy and this got me more excited- and informed. Maybe most importantly though - loved how main characters integrated prayer and thanksgiving within daily life joys and challenges

Another great book by Lauraine Snelling

Loved the story and reader - felt like I was part of the friends adventure in Europe - true to life situations with a lesson for parenting adult children

Not for me

I have read several of the authors books and liked them
This one……no so much. I am turned off by the gay angle and the way it is handled
The plot was thin and I really did not like the characters especially the children
I chose not to finish it.
The narration was only ok but the foreign accents were pretty bad
