From USA Today best-selling author Brett Battles comes the latest in his award-winning Jonathan Quinn thriller series.

Jonathan Quinn has had better years, but now most of the trouble is behind him, if not forgotten.

There is one issue that remains unresolved - the break between him and his partner, Nate. Quinn has come to accept the only potential path to healing the wound is via the passage of time.

The secret world has other ideas.

Quinn and his girlfriend, Orlando, are hired for a new mission, but they must include on their team the operative who is one of the few to have ever seen the face of the job’s target. This operative is unknown to the client, but not to Quinn and Orlando.

Now, to stop a plan that could slaughter tens of thousands of people, they must turn to the one person who wants nothing to do with them.

If they can even find him in time.

Ending felt rushed

This is Book 12 in a series so it should come to no surprise that not everything is going to be tied up at the end of the book. With that being said I feel as though the ending of this book was rushed. The mission was over and then book over. The over arching story had its perfect lead into the rest of the series but I just didn’t feel like this story had a satisfactory conclusion. The part of the story that I feel was missing was two sentences in the final chapter.

All in all still a good Quinn story and I’ll be back for book 13 and beyond.

Fantastic!!!!!!

This series is amazing!!! I love it.

What a great addition to this series. I am enjoying the addition of Jar. This book was full of action, intrigue, mystery, great characters and dialogue.

If you haven't read this series you are truly missing out.

Scott Brick's narration is superb! A+++++++ He is amazing and makes these books come to life!

Loved everything about this book..

So, I read Becoming Quinn novella 0.1 then I went all the way to the end of the series and just finished this one, book 12. AND I’ve read 4 other books by Brett Battles that have nothing to do with the Jonathan Quinn series. WTH is wrong with me?

I loved Becoming Quinn and absolutely loved this one. I guess I’d better go back and read books 1 thru 11 now.

There was so much excitement in this. So much shoot-um-up throughout the book. All to find an arms dealer selling guns to a militia in the US. A bad guy, Mr St. Amand used doubles and kept a scarf wrapped around his head. And he usually killed anyone that saw is face.

The characters were all so likable, well except the bad guys. Loved Quinn and Nate and Orlando and Jar and Daeng, an awesome bunch of MC’s.

No romance and the F-bomb was used 7 times, which isn’t nearly enough for this kind of book.

And one final thing, if I may. I love this book because it kept going from one person to the next, to see what they were thinking and saying and plotting. And, as far as I’m concerned that’s the way it should be. None of this I, I, I, I, I, with only one person to rely on to keep you entertained through the whole book. But, that’s just my lowly opinion.

As to the narration: Love, love, love Scott Brick. His voices and emotions are awesome every time he reads.

Yet another hit

I read Night man first and have left a review for it as well.
To say there is no comparison would be an understatement; as always this story was well crafted and very well delivered by Mr Brick.
Can not wait for lucky 13 to be available!!

Fractabulistic!

I reckon many of you already have eleven degrees of familiarity with The Quinn and his motley crew of badass. Ergo, and because I prefer silent prudence to loquacious folly, yakking is unnecessary and uncalled for in this review.

The Fractured, book twelve in Brett Battle's outstanding Jonathan Quinn series, is conclusively as good as every one of its predecessors—even better if you prefer bounteous action and violence to peripheral chit-chatting and romance. (chittē chittē bang bang)

Scott Brick is Scott Brick...super ultra wicked slick. Scott's talent as a narrator is extraordinary in general, and especially in this particular genre.

In conclusion, both my buddy Marcus Tullius Cicero and I HIGHLY recommend The Fractured: Jonathan Quinn, Book 12.

First J Quinn book. Probably last.

I get the idea of the group and how their could be some better stories in books 1 to 11 but..? There was some serious story line baggage drug into my first sample of these books #12 and I got tired of the wimpy whiny thing the 2 male leads needed to work our.

As far as the meat of the story...the background bad guys....geeez. Hardly kept my attention. I thought the only interesting character in the book was the Asian woman on their team.

Even knowing the next book may lead to more good dead stories running parallel to the main business.... even those unique ideas will dry up soon.

I was borderline ready to return for refund.

Always an adrenaline rush...

I always enjoy the Jonathan Quinn books. Every time a new book comes out I prepare myself because with each new book Battles sets the bar for himself even higher. I always think there's no way he's going to match the previous book but somehow he does. And this book is no exception. Between Battles superb writing and Scott Brick's first rate narration this book is a winner.
This is a fast paced, testosterone laced story with a great plot. I won't go into details but it has a little bit of Dexter, a little more Robin Hood and the rest of the gang including Misty and Steve. From the sound of it I believe Misty will be playing a more prominent character while others my be played out in future books.
This book has my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATIONS.
