Riveting!

Twists and turns held my attention throughout.

Jess Trepanier did a great job narrating.

Standard police procedural

"Frozen Child" is a police procedural about a child kidnapping case. The story follows the logical sequence of solving a cas with no real twists or turns,
The story had good pacing. The narrator's preformance was very good. It was an easy audiobook to follow. However, I did need something extra when it came to the story. Fans of polcie procedurals will enjoy this story.

Interesting story

I just don't think this narrator is for me. Her hissing on so many letters hurt my head. When she isn't hissing she has a nice voice and the hissing is my only complaint.

2 1/2 stars, really

I can't believe I listened to the entire audiobook. The plot is compelling, The writing is juvenile. The police are stupid. I am so glad that my local policemen aren't as idiotic as the ones in this book. It would be a bloodbath out there! They didn't do one logical thing the entire time. The narrator was fine. The editing was bad, repeated sentences that should have been edited out, more than once. But, I felt like I had to be sure the kids were okay, so I finished it. I hope the entire police force in this book go back to school or get a job raking leaves or picking up trash or something less demanding than detective work.

I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left an honest review.
