About this listen

Sixteen-year-old Dylan's life sucks.

A careless driver cost him his leg, and as if that wasn't bad enough, he's being bullied at his new school. But a viral video and a life-changing encounter with a one-armed MMA fighter is about to change his life in ways he never could have imagined.

Could Dylan's biggest weakness turn out to be his greatest strength?

When a fight at his preppy new high school goes viral (kid with one leg loses ass-kicking contest! ROFL!), online humiliation leads a 16-year-old amputee through the doors of a gritty MMA gym. Here he runs into Santana, a larger-than-life Latina cage fighter with one arm, a string of beautiful girlfriends, and her eyes firmly set on becoming a UFC champion.

Not exactly thrilled by Dylan's arrival, she reluctantly takes him under her wing, and via some very tough love, she teaches him not just how to kick ass, but how to accept himself.

A fast-paced, funny novel about resilience, self-acceptance, and martial arts.

I actually thought this was a non fiction book at first. This should be made into a movie.

Very well written
