Publisher's summary

Reeling from an unexpected betrayal, can Sylvia find relief from the echoes of her past...or will they shape her future forever? Although Sylvia Fisher recognizes that most Old Order Amish women her age spend their hours managing a household and raising babies, she has just one focus - tending and nurturing the herd on her family’s dairy farm. But when a dangerous connection with an old beau forces her to move far from home, she decides to concentrate on a new start and pour her energy into reviving another family’s debt-ridden farm.

After months in rehab, Aaron Blank returns home to sell his Daed’s failing farm and move his parents into an easier lifestyle. Two things stand in his way: The father who stubbornly refuses to recognize that Aaron has changed and the determined new farmhand his parents love like a daughter. Her influence on Aaron’s parents could ruin his plans to escape the burdens of farming and build a new life.

Can Aaron and Sylvia find common ground? Or will their unflinching efforts toward opposite goals blur the bigger picture - a path to forgiveness, glimpses of grace, and the promise of love.

My Musings

This is a marvelous romance and a great ending for the trilogy. I just loved The heroine and wow major character growth in the hero. I will miss these characters and will definitely listen to this one again. Happy reading/listening!

Harvest of Grace

This had a complete ending which is nice to hear. So many names or family members had me confused as to who is who. I had not read book one or two of Ada’s House and I am sure this was my problem. Recommend reading Harvest of Grace.

Wonderful story of redemption

This was a wonderful story of redemption and forgiveness. I like that there are many familiar and new characters and varied relationships woven throughout the story.

Cassandra Campbell does a great job narrating. Her tone is pleasant and her acting and characters' voices are good.

Loved this book

I haven't read one of Cindy's books in a long time, so was happy to find that I had a copy of this on my Audible bookshelf. I probably had it for quite a while and didn't realize it. I love this author's books and this one was wonderful.
This book was a lot about learning to trust, both God and others even when at times the trust was broken along the way. The book deals with several of our human foibles that cause issues in the lives of both Amish and Englisch people, such as addictions sorrow and guilt.
The narrator, Cassandra Campbell

As the characters strive to keep the farm up and running, many things stand in the way of the perfect life. Much as life in reality truly is. It's a book of learning to forgive and to ask for help when we can't deal with everything on our own.'

Did I like this book? Yes, definitely. I will continue to be a fan of this author!

Amish Faith

Cindy Woodsmall is an excellent writer. Her descriptions make it all real. I felt like I was right there.
Cassandra Campbell has a fabulous way of being each character. The story was quite different than most Amish romance books. Held my attention till the last word in the prologue. Can’t wait to start another of Cindy’s books.

these Amish stories

I don't knnow what it is about these stories with an Amish setting but I enjoy them, enjoy them a lot. They are like Hallmark Channel movies, just good, wholesome stories that make you feel good about life. Like a thriller, and this wasn't that, I buzzed through this book in two days!

Retelling of the Hosea and Gomer Love Story

In this beautiful trilogy, Woodsmall weaves into the retelling in the Hosea and Gomer love story, the retelling of the story of Ruth and Naomi. Along the way, Woodsmall makes some astonishing theological statements. Such as our reactions to difficult truths are presents, opportunities for development and transformation in love. After repeated readings of this treasure, I am still excavating and rehearsing insights and shards of understandings.
