About this listen

In a small bay town exits a forgotten hotel in the mountains, where no one dares to enter.

The Falcon Creek Lodge was established in 1950 as a high-end resort for travelers and distinguished guests, taken in by its seclusion and scenic beauty. After an unspeakable tragedy, its doors close. Decades later, a tabloid TV host investigates the vacant lodge with his production crew in search of supernatural evidence. Their show ends in disaster. In the years that follow, family man Greg Barrett purchases the property with dreams of running his own business. But his presence awakens a dormant curse and unleashes a terror from beyond.

Impressive

I enjoyed this ghost story as much as my favorite one, "The Supernaturals" which is saying a lot. I didn't think I would find another as good as it but this story is just as good. Really enjoyed it.

Excellent

Two years a resort type hotel for the elite has closed after a tragedy happened. With a TV crew will they uncover the reason, or will they too hurry out. A good twist tale to enjoy, well done.
Given audio for my voluntary review. Good narration

Great horror story!

The Haunting of the Falcon Creek Lodge
A Riveting Haunted House Mystery

This is a book I received from freeaudiblecodes and the review is my own opinion.

I received a few ghost/haunting books from freeaudiblecodes but this was a true horror story! It was good and spooky! It starts by giving the reader a story of the lodge in a very out-of-the-way place where these rich friends meet each year to catch up and enjoy food and drink without their wives. This year, in the 1950's, they get a special surprise! A party crasher, someone seeking revenge. A supernatural being seeks justice for something the men's ancestors did 100 years ago.

The next story is the lodge in 1980's when a TV crew decides to do a documentary on the lodge and the massacre in the'50s. This went about as well as expected! Lots of great supernatural suspense! What I liked was the owner of the lodge wouldn't go inside and suggested the crew not stay long in there either. The owner hands the keys over and leaves immediately.

The last story is in the present. A couple is convinced to buy the place for a ridiculously low price. They are excited to start something new. Boy, the low price is certainly not worth it! We also find out the full story of what happened that started the problem 150 years ago. Before this we got little hints. Good ending!
Good narration!
