About this listen

A one-night stand gone wrong....

Jada Lewis is sick and tired of her boyfriend Todd’s constant cheating and verbal abuse. After she catches him red-handed with another woman - once again - she sets out to get even for a change, hoping to meet someone to make her forget about Todd...if only for one night.

This is where Brice Sullivan comes in. After a chance encounter brings Jada and Brice together, Jada decides that he would be the perfect guy to use to get back at Todd for cheating on her. She knows that she’s still in love with Todd, but she wants to teach him a lesson - that she won’t wait forever for him to get his act together.

However, what was intended to be a one-time hookup with Brice turns into much more as things begin to spiral out of control. One night of pleasure is definitely proving to have some painful consequences.

A wild ride

this was pleasantly entertaining. lots of twist and turns. the deeper the story moved along the more turns were involved.

the narrator was excellent. flowed through the material effortlessly. allowing the storyline to drive the imagination through ever twist of the plot.

A Good Read with A Twist

the opening immediately had me curious. I felt like I was being interrogated and had no clue what I'd done. the characters were relatable although I dont think I've ever encountered that type of crazy. the story was really good and I was quite surprised by the ending.

the narrator gave the story real characters as I could easily distinguish the voices and follow along with each of them.

Good cautionary tale

Jada wanted the ultimate revenge against her cheating boyfriend in the form of a one night stand but got more than she bargained for. This story had me intrigued from the beginning to the end with a good plot twist that I didn’t see coming, which is rare for me because I usually tend to figure them out early on. Good cautionary tale on how one decision can affect the rest of our lives.

Terrible representation of mental health

Truly unfortunate way to represent bipolar disorder and depression. An abomination. I absolutely won’t be purchasing another book by this author.
