Publisher's summary

Brought to you by Penguin.

Lisa needs to disappear. And her friend's rambling old home in the wilds of Yorkshire seems like the perfect place. It's miles away from the closest town, and no one there knows her or her little boy, Joe.

But when Lisa meets some of the locals and hears some disturbing rumours about the house, she realises it might not be the sanctuary she thought.

What secret has Rowan Isle House - and her friend - kept hidden all these years?

And what will Lisa have to do to survive when her own past finally catches up with her?

For fans of psychological suspense this is fairly good.
It was suspenseful at first. But the closer the middle to end of the mystery took me I read the same stuff I read in others of this genre. I simply got so bored I counted "green eyes" in describing characters - I found only one. Guessing what would happen to each character by The End also kept me from clicking off. Good luck. Nothing too ugly here, recommended for the under 30 crowd.
