Publisher's summary

A few hours ago, Sherry Carne would have sworn that vampires didn't exist. That's before rogue immortals rampage through her store, leaving bloody chaos (literally) in their wake. The kicker comes when Sherry learns that one of the vamps on the bad guys' trail may be her life mate. Her head says it's impossible. The rest of her takes one look at Basileios Argeneau and has much more interesting ideas.

Whatever Basil expected in a life mate, funny, outspoken Sherry isn't it. But mind-blowing chemistry and instinct don't lie. They tell him something else, too - that Sherry's connection to the immortal world goes deeper than she knows. And that she's in the kind of danger only Basil can save her from - if she'll just trust him, now and forever....

Loved the story

Loved the story but the mispronounced words like "edentates" was killing me, the narrator should have listened to the previous books!

Why is Mabel referred to as Hazel?

Why is Mabel referred to as Hazel?

It’s irritating hearing the narrator say Hazel and DJ not Mabel. I’m not sure what the heck is going on...

EXCELLENT!

Would you listen to The Immortal Who Loved Me again? Why?

absolutely, the characters were so real and emotional.. the reader of the book is just outstanding. He brings the characters to life.

Which scene was your favorite?

The entire death scene was so moving.. i was driving to work while listening with tears in my eyes

Any additional comments?

I have listened to all the books I always thought the first book was my favorite followed by Z's story, but this one one may have passed them all. Excellent

This story really needs an Epilogue.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I have always enjoyed Vampire romances and if a friend needed something good to read any of the Argeneau novels would be a good choice.

Would you recommend The Immortal Who Loved Me to your friends? Why or why not?

No not this particular novel, because to me the story left me unsatisfied, particularly the ending. There were things here that I wanted to find out what happened. But I would happily recommend the series to my friends.

What about Samantha Quan’s performance did you like?

She did a good job with the voices here absolutely nothing to complain about.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Not really moved but I did have a good chuckle at bricker's long list of slang terms describing a man's equipment.

Any additional comments?

I gave the story 3 stars because I felt the ending was kinda left undone. I don't want to give any spoilers so I will just leave it at that. However the story right up to the ending was top notch.

Good twist

It's a good story line. There's a slight twist in the book that opens the eyes of the main character that I liked.

Another winner

Love the continuity of the series. Having the previous characters such a big part of the storyline is great since it brings us up to date on their lives.
