From gutter to glory!

Killing a man in the heat of the moment, violating a sacred peace among the criminals of Ralon's Bend, a young thief called Joren sets off a chain of events he could never have imagined. He gets banished from his home, caught up in the political intrigue of nations, and wanders the world with his friend, Mattal, the only witness to Joren's crime, trying to fix the mess he caused.

The only way to do that is to become royals - or at least to pretend. But can they carry the deception far enough to save a kingdom, a princess, and 100 years of peace? And if they're found out, can they spare their own necks from the hangman's noose?

Return to the world of The Absent Gods in this thrilling fantasy adventure, The Impostor Prince!

THE ENDING A LITTLE FLAT FOR ME BUT GOOD

THE IMPOSTOR PRINCE BY DAVID DEBORD's two main characters are two boys, both living in the gutter stealing for survival . When one of the boys, Joren kills a priest, he and his friend, Mattel are banished.

THE IMPOSTOR PRINCE takes two scruffy thieves from the sewers and streets and lands them in a royal palace and royal intrigue. I found the book very enjoyable up to the point where each of them fall in love with the princess, then things got a bit dull. The ending was not what I expected or hoped it would turn out either. It kind of ended flat for me. The narration by Steve Barnes was really good seeing he had all the characters he had to produce. I gave the book a four because I really all in all enjoyed most of the book.

I recieved this audiobook free in exchange for an honest review.
