Brought to you by Penguin.

You will inherit everything. The house. The money.

There's just one condition.

You have to catch a killer first....

When Sarah's Aunt Evelyn passes away, she discovers a hidden fortune has been left to her, including a foreboding mansion in a small Northumberland town.

But it comes with one condition.

For most of her life, Evelyn had been haunted by the loss of a friend who went missing in Cragsmoor—the very house Evelyn has left to Sarah.

Now, Evelyn's final wish is for Sarah to return to Cragsmoor and uncover the truth.

If she does, she will inherit everything.

But someone wishes for the secrets of Cragsmoor to remain hidden.

Someone who may have killed once before....

Finally!!! THE PERFECT MYSTERY

Well developed characters, a truly spooky and atmospheric setting+excellent first person narration+an unsolvable mystery=just buy this one!
I could not put it down from the moment it started.
It took a second for this story to develop, because it does so as the intrigue of these characters add depth and dimension to the story.
But this is a truly phenomenal book with some of the best narration I’ve ever heard.
Kirsty Dillon knocks it out of the park at each and every turn.
Worth every sleepless night…
I was so sad that it was over!!!
Easiest five stars I’ve ever given.
Thank you Howard Linskey,
You’ve written an incredible book and I will be waiting with baited breath for your next offering.

Very good

Quite enjoyable. As a fan of Sherlock, 007, many others, and an Anglophile, I really liked it. I also am a fan of another series of books, recently… never mind. I will just say that the denouement was familiar, but still satisfying.

Boring

I could not finish this book. it was just too slow moving and uninteresting. The narrator wasn’t up to usual level. I plan to return it if I can figure out the process.

Boring boring boring.

I listen to on average one audible book a week. I’m getting really tired of getting sucked in by books with good reviews only to be bored out of my mind. Even if I find a book boring I try to give it at least five or six chapters to try to get into it. I should’ve known there were issues with this book when the word five was misspelled in the chapter listings. Perhaps if you like hearing about the interiors of old house being described ad nauseam this might be a good book. I found it awful and I wish I could get my credit back.
