Publisher's summary

The final installment of the Bio of a Space Tyrant series covers the same period as the first five books but with a twist. The Iron Maiden is told from the point of view of Hope's sister, Spirit. This book fills in the gaps when the two siblings were apart and perfectly wraps up this scintillating series!

WOW

I love this series it was absolutely fantastic and ending with the iron maiden. Just made it come full circle. If you have not read the space tyrant series, please go back and read all of them and then read the iron maiden.

Great Conclusion

Sad to see them go. But glad they left the manuscripts behind so that we might remember their legacy...

An Unexpected Pleasure

I was disappointed when the series ended, or I thought it did. I was pleasantly surprised that there was one more. Who doesn't like One More?!
I very much liked the skills of the narrator, doing each voice so if it was female I actually thought I was hearing a female voice. likewise with the male voices. Well written and well Performed.

Nice read

I’ve enjoyed the entire series (well, The Refugee was disturbing and well written). The seemed a little choppy, but fit in well with the overall story

Cliff notes version of the series

Enjoyable, a summary of the series, some added material. I would have liked more of Spirit's life and the trip from the solar system.

Recap, no real revelations

this book was a recap of the first five. if you want to get new story points, fast forward to the last few chapters

Give it some time...

I wish I would have waited to listen to Spirit’s story. If you are like me and power through audiobooks you enjoy, you’ll find this book a bit boring for long stretches as the bio is essentially summarized. There is good Spirit material in here, but not enough to support an entire book. If you love the series, I would still recommend it, but go read a few other titles before listening to this one. Then you can enjoy revisiting Hope’s story with some new Spirit content sprinkled in.

mostly highlights of the last 5 books

this book was like a flash back episode (you know the ones that make you feel like you were robbed and you would have preferred a new episode) 75% or more of this book was just a cut and past from the last 5 books. it answered a few questions but that was about 3 chapters and the rest was all repeated.
