Reinvigorating My Love For KITH

While the book feels mostly like an extended Wikipedia article at times, it was still an interesting read that provided some great insight. Learning about the Kids before they formed the troupe was very interesting, and helped change some of my opinions on who the guys were as individuals. My biggest complaint, is that it never felt like it got too into the backstage stories and inner discussions between the guys. I would’ve be interested to hear how Dave’s rising fame impacting the group more than just making Brain Candy a little trickier to film. Or more details about the different camps within the group and they grew and evolved. Just more details and less of a recap, would’ve been nice.

This is a wonderful compendium of The Kids in the Hall.

This is the story of The Kids in the Hall well told by author Paul Myers. If you’re a fan I definitely recommend this book/audio. Paul does a great job on the narration and he makes you feel like your right there in the room with ‘The Kids’. It’s funny and real. You won’t be disappointed.

If you love the Kids in the Hall

you need to read this. you will love it. if you hate the kids in the hall. you really need to read this. you will love it even more. if you don't even know the kids in the hall, just read it. reading the origin story of each member and how they became the kids in the hall meant a great deal to me. it explains so much of who they are, who they became and what they mean to comedy. these five guys will always be my comedy team. my only regret is that it wasn't a longer read. long live the kids in the hall!
