About this listen

This is the story of Sam Ryan and his move to his new office in North Hollywood and his first case in California. His first case deals with a woman who has been reported missing by her husband for over 20 years. She began as an actress who got her chance to start in the movies in 1958. She was involved in a scandal back then. It made the headlines, and she had to go into hiding without telling her husband.

In the movie, she portrayed one woman in the all-women band in the movie Some Like It Hot. Sam has some issues himself with his girlfriend Kathy who was injured while helping in his last case. In the end, everything is solved and resolved.
