About this listen

What kind of man sacrifices his country for his family? But...what kind of man sacrifices his family for his country?

President Nathaniel “Dutch” McAdams and his family are swept away on Air Force One when a Black Swan event cripples the rattled American economy. Meant to be a safe-haven, he soon finds the violence in the air just as savage as the chaos on the ground.

Dutch is running out of time, and he must choose between his own child or the fate of millions of Americans; most of whom are woefully unprepared and running blind in mass hysteria.

The Last Air Force One is a post-apocalyptic political thriller, and a companion to Black Autumn. Can be listened to in any order.

Need more understanding

How can one of the authors, having 28+ yrs Military service have such distain for our own Military and and civilian population that we would destroy our own cities and country?? Preppers are not the only intelligent and/or courageous people here. Yes, I read/listened to the whole series but deeply, deeply disappointed In the author. Because he seems to see me, as a noncombatant administrative Airman, as a self absorbed traitorous coward!! I realize this is fiction, but please, have more faith in your fellow man and the rest of us in the military!!

Great start to the companion series to Black Autumn

I have read the first three books it the Black Autumn series! This is the series that covers what the government does during the time of the crisis! Am reading the fifth book in the series! Winter of the first year!

Thrilling addition to Black Autumn

Such a great companion book with new interesting characters & plot twists! If you haven’t read Black Autumn you need to as it will fill in the blanks. This was a great story, can’t wait for more.

Solid but short

The story was pretty good, but I’m still feeling that it was lacking because there’s only about two hours long. Somehow I don’t think I got moneys worth, and the fact that it was so short it was a shock. I think I’ll be asking for a refund.

Great Listen - Great Story

Great listen with a haunting premise. What exactly does the top level of our government do when the SHTF? The writing is incredibly researched and thought out. The writers created a very detailed scenario with multiple plot twists and characters that grow (and change) throughout the book.
The narration is excellent.

Good story as always and Kevin Pierce is the best

Very good story and Kevin Pierce is my favorite narrator. He could narrate children's stories and I would listen.

Interesting Story

This is an interesting novella that accompanies the Black Autumn story line. Although followers of the Black Autumn universe will see this as fulfilling, I found it only interesting and not really a crucial part of the overall story - unless there is some over-arching mashup the authors are developing in the future. As usual, Kevin Pierce was awesome and his performances never disappoints.

Food thriller. not realistic

Jammer,a few minor glitches. SECDEF AND POTUS Would NEVER be on the same command aircraft under ANY circumstances. also, where is VPOTUS? Is this part of the"Black Autumn" series? it was a decent read .
