Frank Zafiro
Sandy Banks is the last of The Four Horsemen, a vigilante group of ex-cops determined to right the injustices of a broken court system. But now, the project is disintegrating, putting him in the middle of chaos.
Betrayed by his final partner, blackmailed by the project head, and pursued by federal agents bent on busting the case wide open, Sandy scrambles to escape this mayhem with his soul intact.

Story: so interesting. I found myself hoping it could be the start of a series. As always, Zafiro’s characters are the types of humans that you’re afraid to like. Good guys, that have been blued by the weather. Sometimes it turns out to be useful. Like, tarnished but beautiful. Sometimes the weather wins. The reader ends up rooting for the good/bad/good? guy hoping that they’ll end up on a comfortable side of morality. Don’t discount the book by the quality of the review. I’ll finish by saying, I’m going to listen to the next one right now….
Tangled moral terrain
