About this listen

Annaliese Harper knows that one tiny mistake can jeopardize a career before it's even begun. Letting your boss find the extensive collection of porn on your personal laptop is one way. Sleeping with him is another. Liese manages to do both.

As the new librarian at a prestigious small-town private high school, Liese is drawn to her sexy, charismatic principal, Ryder Whitehall - an attraction she refuses to acknowledge given their relationship and her recent liberation from a delusional ex-boyfriend. Liese is certain Ryder's flirtation is the product of her sex-deprived imagination - until he discovers her digital porn stash during working hours and demands a private meeting. Behind closed doors, their attraction explodes into a dangerous, passionate affair that not only threatens their jobs and reputations, but most of all, their hearts.

Couldn't even finish it...

Let me start by saying I LOVE Helena Hunting's 'Pucked' series - or at least 3 of the 4 in that series. The stories developed slowly with rich characters and great scenes that made me laugh or just enjoy the steamy sex. But, just like I couldn't get through 'Pucked Up' (book 2 of that series), I found this book's characters and development equally flat. I kept reading, thinking it would get better, but gave up after reading 80% of the book. I couldn't wait for it to be over or for some profound shift that would make me love these characters but it never came. I think a similarity may be that the female characters in both lack depth. They seem immature and shallow, eventually just annoying me to the point that I just give up on the books. I almost can't believe the same author wrote the Pucked 1, 3 & 4 books as Pucked 2 and this one, The Librarian Principle. The stories have ranged from some of my very favorite stories ever so that I actually re-read within a week, to stories that just fail to grab me and are truly frustrating. Not sure why there's such an inconsistency in the writing, but hope she figures it out and I'm able to enjoy more of Helena Hunting's amazing stories in the future.

Meh

Smutty fairy tale. Amusing if that's what ur into.
Narrator did a fine job. Predictable story, ample sex scenes.

Passionate

Pretty good (3/5 stars). Story of forbidden romance at work. It drags a bit in places. Lots of passionate, hot scenes. Interesting characters. Narration is okay.

Fun

A fun read and HILARIOUSLY embarrassing! Oh, my goodness, I enjoyed this one and I didn't think I would. Helena Hunting is a good author to pull that off.

Great listening!

I enjoyed this audiobook very much. The story of a school librarian who fantasizes about the sexy high school principal was so entertaining, especially where he finds the pornographic pictures that her friend has altered putting their heads on the porn participants! The chemistry between the two main characters is hot and complicated by the 'no fraternization policy of the school and her stalker ex-boyfriend. The narration was superb, as always by the fantastic Maxine Mitchell!

Big deal

What was the big deal with them dating openly? I can see some issues coming up but not so big for people to be scared to date if it’s love. I’m not a teacher; teachers, principles and anyone working in a school environment needs love. I know work romances can be tricky. I love all of Helena hunting’s pucker series but this one was okay. I could have passed it and not missed it. The one thing I have noticed about the author is she makes the female leads smart but once they are dating or in love ... they become annoying for smart women ( lol)

I Love Helena Hunting!

She had me hooked with her Pucked series. Envoked so many emothions with her Cupcakes and ink series. I don't think she can write anything bad. This is just another master piece.

Repetitive

I really dislike when our main characters can't move past the same behaviors and show personal growth. This "hero" acts like a possessive ass hole in response to any and all situations. Love Helena Hunting, but this book just irks my nerves. dnf.
