This is a very strong hypnotic script

I was expecting a very light induction like his first book but this one put me full under hypnosis. I have tried many hypnotic recordings and only one other has better effects than this one and that one was 30 dollars from an NLP master.

My only complaint is that sometimes the volume changes in the story would bring me back up to full awareness and a warning for parents this book may be too complicated for very little kids it raised many questions in my cousin when I tried it with him. I think an added kids introduction that explains that the story is like a silly dream that takes place in a world where things work differently than in our world and that for the magic of the story to work the kid needs to want it to and just relax and listen would help

Works like a charm!

This really helps my kids (and myself!) relax. I gave performance a low score because once it's over, and you're relaxed or asleep, a loud voice says we hope you enjoyed this.... and it wakes you up!

Must have for kids!

My kids love this book and the The Rabbit who wants to fall asleep. This book has 2 narrator versions included, a male or a female. The more you allow your kids to listen to the book while they are snuggled in bed, the quicker they will fall asleep listening to it. All 3 of my kiddos love this book. My son prefers the rabbit book while my oldest daughter prefers the male narration of the elephant book.

Asleep at the Switch?

This book is well done. Plan to use with my grandchild when she comes, but wanted to check it out first. The story line, the hypnotic performance and pace are excellent. But once Ellen is asleep, a loud male voice hopes you enjoyed the Audible performance! Wake up now! It would make sense to have the story teller deliver the message in the same tone. Somebody didn't connect the dots on this one! I have identified the exact time at which the story ends in order to turn it off prior to the "thank you note" .
